similar incident happen on my cousin only daughter... haiz...

I have a T-junction around my housing area, use it everyday for work. Can see that drivers and riders rushing to complete the left turn, just do it with due care lor especially check ur blindspot before you move off (left and right).

 

I watch the "frontline" on channel 8, 2230, friday (02-Oct-09)

A auntie knocked down by a taxi, a primary sch student hit by a motorist ultimately sadden, our transport tool end up being a killer machine.

 

ya! i watched the same show, sadz man children and elderly most vulnerable.

 

sometimes as pedestrians, we shouldnt take the green man for granted also.

still remembered many years back at pasir ris, my mom nearly got knocked down by a car coz the bugger just sped through even though it's red light fr him. secluded areas doesn't mean no one will cross the pedestrian crossing, secluded areas also doesn't mean no cars will pass by. it wont make a difference if we're vigilant on the road, just take one bloody bugger to be reckless.

 

the other day whilst riding, super busy traffic along holland and before that. was lane splitting very slowly coz i had one pizza pouch poking out from my bike coz i hang it at the handlebar. then got one part, the pizza pouch got stucked at the rear of this car! blame myself for making wrong judgements~

 

holland road there a bit havoc coz of circle line arh, due care when u r there. it's like farrer road, lots of twists and turns and construction etc...

During Saturday night's drizzle, saw two separate accidents along a short stretch of SLE... Looks like those typical tail-gate-zham-brake-BANG! type of case... Nothing serious though, just a bit of bump here and there.

 

This morning while riding to work, kena a typical case of "bongtard" cager turning out from filter lane and straight away swing into second lane. Fook la, the bus lane also not in operation yet, so damn gan cheong for wad. Luckily first lane was clear for me to siam into, otherwise the stupiak fella would have sideswiped me. id0ita!

Park my bike at CP for 2 days straight, found out someone meddle with my bike and my number plate kena "hit" and bend. Luckily its made of metal sheet or else surely broke into pieces. (-____-)

yesterday, on the way back from town, came across with a mad cager who wanted to kill me. i was lane changing from 1 to 2, when the white cager also wanted to lane change from 3 to 2. i was almost completing my lane change when he suddenly swerved into lane 2 beside me. i showed him the wth sign with my left hand and open throttle till i'm in front of him. he horned and high beam me. i just heck care and continued with my journey, when he started to tailgate . i think i kindof siam from that bugger for quite a distance when suddenly i saw the bugger driving fast on lane 1, swerve into lane 2. at this time, i was behind him, but i was in lane 3. i showed him the middle finger, but wasnt sure if he saw that.

 

the next thing i knew, i almost became a victim of road rage. he swerved into lane 3 directly infront of me and JAMMED HIS BRAKES.

 

all that i was thinking at that time was heng i never ram into his car and that lane 2 was clear for me to swerve. and at that moment, my heart was literally at my throat and all i wanted to do was to SIAM VERYVERY far from him. now it's not ego taking over the throttle, it's the feeling of fear and panic. nearing marine parade exit, traffic seems to slow down, that's when lane splitting is in my favour to siam from that bugger.

 

dont know what that bugger thinking. he want to run me down or he want me to ram his car backside. my friend can still say i should have jammed my brakes when he tailgate me. which is a no-no. . want to bully female rider, need to bully until like that meh.

 

anyway, i know im in the wrong fr showing the wth sign first. but it's not a sign of provocation innit? and if you're wondering, i did signal, check blindspot and make a proper lane change. and it's not like i'm invisible, i was wearing white.

eh miss you very dangerous wor. no matter how angry you get, just shake your head and curse into your helmet. alot of young (even older) drivers wont think a second thought about ramming riders off their rides when they are raged.

i don see how a 135cc 4-stroke can zhng until can outrun a SP or even a RXZ... unless switch engine which is highly improbable i think. kups can have exceptional acceleration i agree, but top speed, don think they can do much...

of all kups, i think only y125z can give sp a run for its money...

usually i would reserve the finger for really jialat cagers. a simple thumbs down normally does the trick.

i siam-ed the moment he wanna tailgate maa. but the joker caught up with me, and that's when he jammed on the brakes. his car is new, so shiny, sjl plate. i dowant to dirty or make any dents in his car.

 

talking about ride safely, there was this ahpek lane split so slow on straight road, but when approaching a bend, he sped up. i was like ... wah this apek terror. coz i kept to my lane when approaching that bend and that apek still continued to lane split.

my cousin's speedometer needle broke. dont know what he do but he did say that he clear meter with his x1r. maybe jack got try bfo? hehe:cheeky:

 

but even when i riding my RR, alot of spark n 125z easily overtake me. the JB kups, that one no need say lah. they all ride their kups like as if their kups is superbikes like that ...

 

anyway, saw a JB kr with modified exhaust. no fair, on sg roads they are allowed such modifications but sg bikes cant.

9 out of 10 motorists on the road do not think when they're angry, they will only regret and traumatise themselves when they see your head away from your body. By then it is too late. And if no one is to provide witness for you, responsibility is still on you for slamming into another vehicle's back.

 

Is it really worth it to point that little finger afterall? Even if you managed to escape unscathed, it is still not worth to induce that risk.

Which is why I've learnt to ride with a super cool head and let it go, and reserve the "finger" for VV...VIPs only.

 

Yes, some of these cagers have no regard for other lives, especially in the cozy confinement of their cages. What to dooooo? Challenging them head on is just asking for trouble.

 

Bikers always lose out in any incidents on the road, be it our fault or not. At the end of the day, what's most important is whether we can reach our destination safely.

i'm a naturally hot-tempered person. after what happened only then i realized that if i got over my head, things may not go as expected, especially on the roads. but really, i didnt know that showing the finger is an offence. thanks for that little piece of information ...
