Yesterday while riding, this taxi made an illegal u-turn along bedok reservoir road towards eunos link... When I was about 2-3 buslength away from the "junction"( entrance to service road)... Had to jam brakes with my pillion... After that, he signalled left to filter to eunos link towards PIE... And he changed into my lane on his right when I was half a car length away from him... Had to jam my brakes again with my pillion... So when he stopped at te filter lane, I rode up beside him, closed his left side mirror for him... Really tempted to get off my bike and smash his windows and windscreen... But my pillion was there... So I did not... Yea.. Almost causing me to have an accident one time, I ignore... Two times and I can't ignore it anymore... What's that saying? Once bitten, twice shy? Something like that... Ride safe guys... Many f***Ed up drivers out there...

Guys, just a thought, it have been pondering my mind. Let's say, I'm pushing my bike off from the parking lot. A said car or any vehicle just happens to hit my bike as I was pushing it. What's your take on this situation. I'm asking this as the m/c lot under my block is narrow and cars tend to park adjacent to the lot, due to that, I think, it might be a blindspot for cars once the enter the carpark. Some cars, even police cars just enter and turn in without checking.

As I know, if a park vehicle is hit. The offence would be hitting a stationery vehicle. But does pushing a bike, considered stationery?

No... U were on the bike at the time, so it's considered a road traffic accident... Btw, what are the details of him hitting u? Exchanged particulars? Did he offer to settle privately?

Most importantly, any injury involved?

wait..wait. I'm just theoretically speaking. As in, it didn't happen to me. I'm just playing the situation in my mind. And just what should the next thing to do. As in, the situation is, I'm just pushing my bike. (As in im beside my bike, while my hand is pushing the handlebar). From one lot to another lot like that. I hope this don't happen.

Agree with devotar... And also depends on whether the impact caused your bike to fall onto u... In all cases, the driver would be at fault because he rear ended u...

OR

he hit your bike while u were pushing it out of the lot then it would be your fault for not looking out for vehicles before moving off...

Sad but true. That is why drivers like to 'push' us out of the lanes because they have this mentality and use it to their advantage instead of looking out for us. Big always bully small. Should be big looking out after the small.

Wait for traffic, smash his side mirrors, if got coin better, scratch and win.

Watchout for lane one on ECP-AYE before the s-curve at Marina south, some onknown object lying there almost caused me to buang.

I ended up with bent rims and airtime. Thankfully didn't fall off the bike.

Maybe can cover under same rule as when car moving into or out of parking lot? feels like same concept but well, laws in sg very interesting sometimes.

Actually for car also same. If u moving out of e lot, is e parking car's fault. But if u r moving into e lot then its e other car's fault le. So if u r moving ur bike into e lot then it is fine lo. :)

Put stick notes on his car 'I know where you live' or 'Come out come out wherever you are'
This reminded me of the movie 'Scream'.
