may i ask why riders modify their exhaust? does it make the bike more powerful?

Search the exhaust discussion thread..read a few post and your questions are answered...

haha... some riders tend to submerge into their own world thinking they're riding a superbike so anyone who keep looking at them is considered hostile.

anyway, if i were him i would say, "yo bro, admiring my bike ah?"

Not say hostile. Sometimes the way they look, like never see bike before. Just last month, an Asian family (possibly 3 generations) inside the car was staring at my bike. The way they look at me and the bike, like never see touring cruiser before. Eyes very wide and mouth open. I normally smile and wave but the way they look at me, I feel so shy

:shy:

I also thought I could handle the attention, but the way this particular family look at me, I also want to hide inside my pannier box :help:

Years ago when i took my class 5 practical one laupek instructor told me even when you have the right of way, dont accelerate on junctions always be prepared coz some "kayu" will try their luck..

But **** happens,a month later,i was riding my pizza delivery bike, slowed on a junction, slowed down as there's a car on a stop line going to join the main road. He stopped, looked at me,next thing he moved off, thank god i was going slow, managed to brake and sweave but too bad my crashbar hit his bumper. His bumper dropped,i was uninjured..wonder how bad its going to be if i were not prepared..

Well if you're driving a big truck and a driver decides to ignore right of way, well you have the 'right' to ram them. Bopian ma, cannot stop on time.

Should throw away the idea that the law will help you as well.

To be fair, not that the law won't help. But you need concrete evidence, eye witness before the law can take action.

So best is defensive riding first or some will choose aggressive riding.

But regardless your choice, hope won't become the type of driver /rider that has made us have to be so super extra careful on the road.

Ya if inside the vehicle only got the "ignoring" driver ok bro,but if got kids..whoa!! even if i have then right of way also i get a huge scar on my memory..but slow down helps abit even i jammed brake and still there's a collision it will be lesser impact..but then its up to the creator to take or save the live..

Like those minivan cab @ changi airport type.

Female driver, from lane 2 go all the way cut the chevron, into the exit, I go pass, look at her, no reaction.

At the filter lane afterwards, after turning, just jam accelerator machiam auto car, keep on

Road hogger @ 50km/h on 4th lane

Dropped my bike's key+remote at the void deck last nite. Woke up this morning trying very hard to find it, but failed. So I gave up & took out my spare & walked to the carpark.

Apparently, "someone" found it, lifted up my bike cover & left it on my ignition!

To that "someone", if you see this, I would like to say I really appreciate it & thank you so much!

To the s4 speeding on sleep heading towards cte on 13rd Aug around 9.30pm.

If you wish to die, please find a location where you won't bring others along. At the speed you were going, I estimate 140+, under the poor lighting conditions plus other vehicles' headlights, it is extremely easy to mistake you as a car.

Thankfully I'm extremely kiasi rider this I check blind spots too many times. But thanks to that, I saw you at the last minute and managed to avoid a crash.

You may not have realised the risk but let me explain clearly what could have happened.

1) you could have jam brake and lose control and crash yourself.

2) you could have crash into me.

Before others feel that I could have done more, I just wish to state clearly that I checked and saw the s4 light first time farther away but at that time didn't realize is a bike. 2nd time I checked I knew for sure it was a bike as it was already beside the car behind me on lane 1, at this moment I was preparing to change lane.

In this split moment, I know the s4 was faster than me and if I continued to move into lane 1, there is a risk this I evaded to the left back into lane 2.

To the s4 rider, if you want to speed, please do so responsibly. Please accept the fact that bikes are much less visible and at higher speed, it becomes much more invisible. Even if you do not spare a thought for yourself, do so for others. At the very least spare a thought for your parents.

Recently the road is getting worst each day. Travel SLE CTE back fro work everyday, and all I see is reckless behaviors like lane change without signal, lane change with last minute signal (and with the "I signal! I GOT RIGHT OF WAY!") attitude.

Not only targeted at drivers but as well as riders. So many heavy vehicles hogging lanes, cars hogging lanes, riders hogging lane split lines, which all just boils down to ego problem. People just can't accept the fact that someone will be travelling faster than you, and that doesn't mean that person is belittling you or challenging you.

And also those who intentionally slowed down, swerve in just not to let you "win" them. Freaking pissed off with such attitudes.

Some are just comfortable riding at a higher speed. What's more, the worst is when 2 vehicles (regardless of types) traveling on 2 lanes at similar speed, side by side. Buggers who slow down the whole traffic.

If you are slow, just move aside! Not everyone is challenging you. We just wanna go faster than what you are traveling at, does it take a piece of meat of your body?!

Ok, done my rant. Freaking pissed!

Adventure.

Try BKE after office hours, moronic JB drivers and rider plus moronic Singaporean ones, buses switching between extreme right and middle lane is common and Upp Thompson in the morning, dangerous debris from trucks driven by FTs and jam packed traffic with barely enough room to squeeze.

SKD BM 7 series behind me, see me small bike, overtake me.

Just curious why the hell he didn't overtake the QX.:dozed:

Went to pump petrol and tyres. Got in queue to pump tyres after paying for petrol. Passenger in front was pumping so waited patiently. Once down both passenger and driver got into car. Instead of buzzing off quickly they spent about 10 minutes talking making me wait to move forward to the pump area. Probably they finally noticed I was waiting then the driver started her engine. Instead of just turning right to get out of the space. She reversed towards me. Thankfully for my quick reaction I managed to back pedal my bike. The space in front of the car can fit a car and a half so I do not see why she had to reverse to get out. Apparently she might have been in the wrong gear. The car stopped and then quickly buzzed off. No sorry or anything. :what:

the air around ITE West, along Bukit Batok Road to Choa Chu Kang Central, seems hazy. could it be just due to praying for 7th month or haze is back?

Hatred do not ever cease in this world by hating but by love.

This is an eternal truth...

Overcome anger by love.

Overcome evil by good.

Overcome the miser by giving.

Overcome the liar by truth.
