So far the only z i've seen using it was our friend "shahrul_rXz"....

If ur interested u could ask him about it..

 

I'm thinking of doing it on my bike also....

But my pocket dried up lately due to other bike problem...

It's been a while since my last post. I've been in an accident last week. I'm fine, just minor cuts and bruises on my knees and elbows. But my bike is not ok. The whole front cowling tore away like paper. Lost 1 mirror, 1 footrest, torn handle grip, broken speedometer and tilted box. Luckily I wore boots and gloves when I ride. At least some protection on my palms and my ankles, the most important part.

 

How are you guys doing? Just met up with Maverick yesterday, and he got some quick tips from my mechanic. Anyone who wants to visit my recommended mechanic can PM me or MaverickRD. I'm sure he'll help.

 

I've got some questions....

1) How much will it cost to change to new tank and new body parts for RXZ? Can anybody compare between Singapore and Malaysia? Somebody told meI can get 1 set for RM200, a friend of mine paid RM480 for whole set. So which is which?

 

2) Where in Singapore can I get the Speedometer and Tachometer with a white background. My mechanic only has the black background type. How much?

hugger eh... cost of hugger and chain(use 125z ones) estimated rm 65... larbour for fixing the hugger arnd rm30... i done mine at Boyesen, lorong bapok... i am using 17" sport rim... nvr saw any 18" rims using hugger b4... hope tis clear ur doubts...

bro, the idling lite and brake lite the same as rxz, coz using same type of bulb boh. the only diff is tat got two instead of one

Glad ur okay and recoving well bro. unfortunate tat i couldnt make it wif u guys to see abg boy. would love to tune up my bike again after all the trashing it been through. the cover set would cost abt 145-170$ in SG. this including tank bro. concerning Msia, i dunno must ask the others tat frequent msia.

niway, i saw the 125z parts catalog, and their hugger is attached to thier chain guard. tot of doing too but then, with the prospect of changing smaller rims, tyres, chain guard, some even say swing arm $$$$$$ postpone the ideal permanently...hahaha.

Anyway, I'm thinking of going JB by car, buy the stuff and then bring back to Singapore and fix. I don't wanna risk my bike into JB again.

 

Gonna get the speedometer and tachometer. Last time I checked its RM135.

well u guys askin bout full new 07 coverset plus tank?? the price is $200.. so its RM$400.. can go to lorong bapok and ask for panjang shop.. my friend bought it from there.. i've seen the finishing.. its as gd as new.. clean and smooth like jus come out bike shop.. so gd luck..

 

hmm as for y1 bolck u can still get it but, limited.. instead of gettin tat u guys can get a y4 instead.. but ask for y4 japan.. its ard $300+ its a japan product not thailand ok..

yea... so far i have only seen 125z hugger on rxz... tzm and krr hugger quite wide for rxz... as for the chain gaurd, u can use rxz standard chain gaurd or posh colourful chain gaurd or 125z standard chain gaurd...

in spore not sure where to go and do the hugger installation...

bro, got ur coverset already? i changed mine at JB(lorong bapok) kt kedai panjang...380RM, new design(the red ones)...comes with everytin includin i sprayed the dagu with same color cos initially dagu not included in the package. the shop pasted the stickers for me and oso i got a transparent bubble.

ahhaha.... ok hugger is like a cosmetic addition to ur bike... it just make ur bike look more sporty... as i have mentioned in the earlier part, tyre choice will be limited when using hugger... the largest could fit the hugger is 90/80 battlax... there are pics below where u can see for more clearer picture...

if u want better brake response, its better if u change the brakeline to a better one first. changing the oversize disc affects slightly better braking
