deep blue bro, change bike isit? haha cannot. buy a new one lah. at first i nearly buy runner also. Mark one told me not bad. but then i buy gmax coz of the design. later find out the perf not so bad.

 

simple bro, if budget constraint suggest u get secondhand like i used to last time. if not too tied up you will worry more and not enjoy the ownership of the bike man.

wait til got more money tam one time a big scoot hehe.

ya as for the box issue, for gmax i dun suggest you place a box. i got the givi 450 initially but the bike REALLY shake. there was this once i was riding one hand on the bike and handle lightly on the other hand and the bike shake terribly giving me a shock. din know the prob til the expert BC bro told me and he was rite.

 

i now change to smaller box. empty ok but once i put things which are abt 2-3kg you can fell a bit shaky also.

 

prev the manufacturer for the bracket in taiwan made it wrongly as there is one extension short. the 4 poles two of them broke. then i went bk to change the new ones, now ok liao.

 

if u want box get a smaller one. big one is a prob. i using gini micro2. :smile:

Guess u need to tighten the steering cone bearing abit further.

 

cos I think (I might be wrong) I'm can feel my steering cone clicking.

 

Happens to my runner and typhoon before.

 

Guess I'll check that out at 3000km servicng. think will be 4/06/2005

anyway I did ride for abt a month plus without a box and it really did not shake. so the box might be the prob and the steering cone also might be the prob. anyway the balancers on the side also fake one, its rubber so maybe that contribute also.

 

last nite i tok another reading on the petrol consumption.

 

4130 - 3946 = 184km travelled with 5.2 litre of v-power

Therefore 35.38 km per litre.

 

I use first 5 litres coz anything after that I feel there is a little loss of power maybe due to usage of the reserve tank. The consumption maybe diff when using the reserve maybe that explain why ppl say can travel up to 40km/l.

 

The next time I will try the consumption on Shell 98.

According to onfos I gathered, any 2 stroke runner will win us in terms of power.

Be it long disatnce or pick up.

 

But the VXR still can play. cos G-max seems to pickup faster in the first 100 meters. Then long distance no need to say, vxr have higher top speed.

 

Today, tommorow (nite)I supper free cos wife not in town:P

Silverwing Mark One is riding. Got one burgman bro jus bought new bike also but forgot his nick. went to kfc that day.

Quite fun for the first G_max 150 mini meetup.

 

It was was the first time for me to go to mt faber :cheeky:

 

After that was teloh blangah hill.

 

about it was nothing great it it sure feels good helping a biker in trouble :cheeky:
