That's ridiculously expensive for a 2B bike.

After passing my 2B, I found an 8 month old, 4,000km mileage maxi scooter for about $4,500! And it looks as good as a brand new bike when I rode it home for the first time.

It was less than two years ago this bike was going for $6,370 all in except insurance eh. So including insurance it should be approximately $7,500. At the time COE was $1.8k, now its $4.3k. So add $2.5k. Should cost you ten grand.

You buy already then ask if it is too expensive anot...a bit too late wor. Would be advisable to do your research a bit earlier i n future.

I have seen used busas for sale at just 2-3k over that amount.

Erm... I think people would rather buy a car since they are paying the same amount of road tax, insurance and petrol anyway.

I have no sense of direction, am a slow rider and always lost. >.<"

And COE? $4000 vs $80000? looks like a lot of difference to me.

Yup. Because he is young. Insurance coverage is the cheapest between the age of 31-35.

I'm starting to feel old now :( I pay less than 400 for an insurance..

Buy already. Forget it. Ride it for what its worth.

Make sure you ride with the speed recommended to run in the engine.

Fill up as much petrol as possible and estimate its usage.

Wire in hazard lights where you have to, and at least upgrade the horn. Learn to push the bike up and around some carparks to have a better feel of its weight, and use old comforters to lay the bike down and lift up practice.

:thumb: I agree.

Change to a pair of loud horns.

Stock horns are just slightly louder than a cat meow.

When I got my FZ6N, the stock horns are so soft that I can bearly hear them myself when I press it while on the go.

Change to a pair of loud horns.

There is a brudder selling good loud horns in the forum here on CMO.

Ride safe, bro @shun07.

Cheers.
