if you get the hang of it.. it shouldn't be the problem.. assume you are getting the OEM or original box. your clearance should be your Mirror, as long your mirror can clear.. should be problem.. mine is E45.. not OEM nor original.. my "ass" is bigger than anyone and i am trying to hide it within my mirror clearance.. :c

hi all.. willing to know more about VFR800 as today i saw 1 unit at bike shop selling @13.5k year 2007...

how is the FC for this bike? and what is the pro and cons about this bike.

Posted

FC is around 15-17km/L

pro : V4 , unique, cool looking for gen6, nice sound

con : fairing bike drop = pocket hole big, maintainence slightly exp than inline4, v4 bike quite hot because behind 2 cylinders cannot cool down easily by air, exhaust not as loud as inline4 for me.

anyway i riding gen5

anyone think of putting 1 more fan in your vffier?? :c recently my fan kick in 107 instead of 105.. in jam, can shot up to 109.. yet to hit 110 mark.. thinking to put a dual fan and manual bypass switch to slow down the temp.. SIngapoire is too hot for Vfr.. :c

there's a thread on this at vfrd or vfrw, but i dun think can support =/ some of them change to vtr fan for me, i find it ok my regular temp is around 72-90 very seldom over 90

no problem with my sensor as i just changed =)

Remember this bike is using hydralic clutch. Go with basics first....when was the last time the clutch fluid been changed? Second thing could be the Clutch master pump failure......normally if clutch plate worn is you still can engage the first gear but without releasing the lever the bike will move forward.

Someone recently had the same problem...turns out this clutch fluid was a few years old and it clogged up the master cylinder....a simple change of clutch fluid was all needed.

hi lemon97 bro ,

you might wanna change the radiator cap first and at the same time ,

have your cooling system flush before doing any mod . :goodluck:
