Can anyone pls explain abt car insurance and how it works?

1) Wat is third party and first party?

2)Can i drive the car if the insurance is under someone elses name?

1) first party means you can claim for your own mistake , third party only covers third partty and not yourself.

 

2) yes, you can. Insurance for car covers all legal drivers but the coverage and excess amount may be different depending on the profile of the driver.

pple always think comprehensive the best,correct,if it involves local cars,or u claim yourself.But if it involves foreign cars e.g MY cars,no insurance is the best. My car kanna bang the rear by a MY car,o cse the fellow dun pay one.If your insurance is comprehensive,claim the damage o 3k on your policy first,then claim the MY insurance(take up to 2 years to claim),yr NCD sure 0%,next premium amt sure mati.My insurance 3rd party,my workshop cannot claim it, i top up 700 buck to repair the damage o nearly 3k,then they proceed action against the MY car insurance.
