need a jack meh???

juz let it run on neutral gear tilt the bike toward left side with the side stand on the floor.

one hand hole the handle bar the other hold on to the back seat rest then with one leg stepping on the side stand and pull it toward u can liao.

this is how i do it... so the back wheel will spin on a stationary position. the other can spay for u. if u r alone then spray it bit by bit lor.

Place the jack under the cross section of the swingarm. That's the most centralised and stable point. It would help if you can find a brick and put it under your side stand when the jack is up.

it's still scary. i tried and it looks like the bike would topple anytime.

what's the best way to loosen rusty bolts? will WD40 do the trick?

hey ppl.. got a question...my chain looks a bit loose. I want to try and tighten it myself. Read the manual and instructions look easy to follow. However the manual says have to tighten the axle nut to 88Nm and u need a torque wrench for that. Torque wrench really necessary? or do i just tighten it as tight as it will go with a normal spanner???

Some advise pls! thanks alot!!

When jacking up the bike, put something (best is a wedge-shape object) infront and behind the front wheel tyre so that the bike don't roll forward or backward when it is on jack. If the front wheel moves, the bike may topple over.

U can try DIY, but proper tools are necessary.

wrench will be easily & it wont round your nuts, if you used spanner must sure the spanner cover the whole nut, as so it wont round it. :goodluck:

what do you mean by round the nut?

It will be best if you use a torque wrench but then most motortiams also don't use torque wrench. Tighten the nut tight but don't use 'brute force' otherwise over-tighthening will spoil the thread of the nut or the bolt.

Hi guys, wondering if anyone has fixed those 'white bulbs' on their Phantoms. I'm referring to e Philips Blue Vision type. Is it suitable for Phantoms? Will e other headlight accessories 'melt' bcoz of e higher heat generated? Another issue is e LED rear light. Has LTA approved e use of it? Thks for enlighting my enquiries. =)

i don't think can directly fix on. need to change the whole headlight. and yes, heat will be an issue. led rear light should be no problem. anyone care to clarify?

I have been riding TA200 for over a month. Initially, very difficult to kick to netural from 1st gear. After changing engine oil, this problem was solved. However, now keep getting netural when kicking from 1st to 2nd gear. What's the problem and solution. Thanks in advance.

Finally cannot tahan my first to second gear problem so yesterday rode to Planet Motor. The boss took one look then used a pipe to bend my gear lever outward and problem solved. The gear lever was slightly crooked and whenever I try to kick it up, it would come in contact with the gear box, thus preventing me from lifting up the lever completely. Hi all PK! Got a FQ TA150 and went for carb washing last week. Now discover that there are drips of pertrol found at the bottom of the carb. Not sure whether before washing its like that. Is there a need for concern? Thanks in advance!
