wah... since when should you run the engine for awhile before checking EO levels... if the oil gets really hot they would "explode" out :giddy:

if your dipstick shows... nothing at all / below minimum limit... your bike is in critical condition... you need to top up EO immediately or risk massive damage...

lol its only normal for me to try drag more people for outing ha..

lol when will your work end? you should give your preferred shop a call and ask when they close... I know planet's hours vary a lot... maybe up to 8pm, sometimes can be up to 10pm...

Vidak like friday pk outing ambassator like that.

Ya i got my bike on 24 last month, changed eo. This morning i tried to check. My first time checking. Start engine let it run awhile. Then off. Screw out the black thing, clean. Straighten bike. Insert, take out. No change at all. Like totally dry. Now i sacred. Monday going planet. But Is i check wrong or really weird? Cannot be a bit also don't have leh.

Thanks all.

let engine cool down....the eo will drip from engine ...and fill sump....best is to check before u start engine for a ride.(after overnight parking) in that case most oil will be in sump. take note max eo in engine

1.2 L....but when chnage eo need only 1L..so u see .2L in engine..(1.0 in sump...this is the place where the dip stick is measuring)

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

I usually keep my pressure at 220 front 230 back... 300 is like your tire going to explode...

it's a new tyre.(meztler something).. changed at planet for both... 2 weeks back...

i specifically measure with digital gauge again this morning..(cold)

300 at front.... 290 for rear...

had reduced...205 for front....and 225 for rear....hope it would be fine..

When i changed tires also they put freaking a lot of air in. My friend say Is like that one the bike shops just whack air in.

Ok so if i change myself just go petrol station buy. Fully syn. 10w50 any brand can right?

So i just go back take plastic bag put below engine. Take out screw let eo drain out.

Put back screw. Pour in new eo.

Thats it?

yeah..something like that..and dont forget to dump the used eo..at the bike shop they always have a big drum at their shop to store used eo...i think they sell it to the recycler.

the process could be messy..so have funnel, containers rags all at standby..

i use a diy funnel..from a small plastic bottle..remove bottom and tadra a diy funnel...

have fun ....

One possible reason is to check for proper fitting lor. You know our tyres is tubeless one. If you notice when they change tyre, after inflating for a while, will hear the tyre "pop" into the rim fittings. If not fitted properly, your tyres will be flat in no time.

I checked the manual.. i found out that i read the thing wrongly.. its the EO level is supposed to be only the bottom "nipple" part of the dipstick.. I thought its the whole thing.....

the practice of high pressure in new tyres is to seat the tyre nicely onto the wheel during installation..i think the mech is just lazy/careless not to reset it normal psi..

IMHO
