i like the 2nd shot, for how the goggles are caught squarely against the yellow windows, and how the bike is against the orange board.

 

and the bike and rider are captured in a more aggressive posture.

 

and i think the first one, the bike is captured moving out of the picture. it feels cut off at the helmet too. the 2nd one is better.... framed? i think the first pic will work if the blanks on the left are cropped away.

 

just my very layman opinions.

keep on taking the pics man! it's good to see some "serious" photography of biking (as opposed to bikes)!
