the mech told me dat price included trouble-shooting...cos my bike stalled mid journey and couldn't start, i tot i lucky cos got this shop nearby (not my regular shop)...but he only took like 5 minute settle liao. Imagine making $10 per 5 min...ie $120/hr...$960/day...need i say more? :p

on the topic of battery...dun just see the brand YUASA...there's authentic japan YUASA and there's made-in-thailand YUASA...

DO. Or DO NOT. There is no TRY.

Ensure that it states 'Made in Japan' and not 'Made In Jepan'. I've heard of someone who thought he bought an Adidas wallet. Sekali when he checked, it was an 'Adibas' wallet... :faint:

Nowadays yuasa no longer makes batteries from japan

so the question is... the yuasa made in thailand is it genuine (just another yuasa owned plant outside japan) or 'chiong' (company not owned by yuasa)?

i just recently sought to replace my battery as it died when i tried to start it at work. the battery is the same model for Super 4, YTX9-BS. One shop ask me whether i wan it made in japan or made in thailand. the one made in japan having a honda oem the battery thus have the honda logo and color in red and white and everything written on the box are all japanese. the battery itself as the wording on it, "Made in Japan" and the manuals are all in japanese.

Price wise, the made in japan is $109 while made in thailand is $60. very confused.... so the one made in thailand is 'chiong' or genuine (plant owned by yuasa in thailand)?
