hahaha overkill as in too much $$ or? so far i only tried chex.. quite cheap la $16 one bottle.. hmm castrol one how much ah? is it smooth? Motul one like damn ex.. 20W is thicker is it?

Overkill as in too good for my bike liao. haha :cheeky: Also quite expensive.

Castrol Power1 Racing = $20 , Fully syn. Castrol also got semi-syn, $12 I think and it's called Castrol Power1.

The number after the W, which is either 40 or 50 indicate the thickness. 50 is thicker compared to 40.

Motul no good.... tried already... It may be smooth but it doesn't last long.

That time you try can lasts how long? Now is the 2nd month liao, i think still going strong for me. I do top-up the E.O at times lah. haha. :cheeky:

Talking about clips, you know where to purchase them? Haha... :cheeky:

A lot new bikes use clips for the screw to thread in. Don't really like this idea at all, although it is easier to dismantle and put back.

think got to place order thru authorised dealer.

really not easily available.

take some pics of the damage and post~

the entire head fairing can be divided into left, right, centre + bottom piece.

i.e. 4 pieces join together to make up the front head.

which piece are u referring to?

for left/right, costs around $45 per piece.

point to note is that the part may not come in the exact same color as the one u have now. e.g. yr bike is black paintwork and ready stock for the part is in blue (unless u can wait for new shipment to arrive in about 2-4 weeks).

missing screws can be purchased. the only tricky part is the clip that the screw threads against. these clips are rare. if the side middle fairings are not damaged/missing, there should be total of 4 clips/middle fairing. 2 are for screws connecting to front fairing & 2 are for screw connecting to side bottom fairing).

what does missing right lamp mean? the left & right handlamp comes in a single set.

:cheeky:

THANKS THANKS GURU!!

anyway guys, i viewed one bike ytd and test ride too. The gear change to neutral is very hard? i tried for 1-2min to get it to neutral.

And i stalled a few times, havent ride for really long. Also felt damn vulnerable riding, riders sure need guts!

If you buy, just adjust the clutch cable. Haha!

If adjustment doesn't works, then have to change clutch plate liao...

i have been experiencing this problem and it shows up when i travel >50.

More common, it surfaced when i am travelling 90-110. There is a 'less than half a sec' disengage (like clutched in) when i maintained my throttle and speed, causing a mere lag and slight drop. It feels like a roller coaster taking half a sec lag in the midst of a full speed ride.

Can anyone help to identify this problem? Thanks.

Difficult to identify.... cos i have the same problem... and it still hasn't gone away.. What i've done in order:

1. Wash carb

2. Change carb hoses

3. Change sparkplug

4. Change plug coil

5. Change air filter

and it still doesn't go away..... so now suspecting the CDI is faulty.... but me being me... the bike still moves, so i can't be bothered to do anything anymore. Wait till completely cannot start one day then go repair.
