Anybody have any issues on their cbr150r before where there is constant knocking noise coming from the head area. Increases as u rev. one shop say tappet, one shop say overheat.

Any body else have the same problem and had theirs fix?

Screw is loose from somewhere on the head... check mirrors... tighten everything and observe again.

Should I go there since they are so rough?

It's $38 for both sprockets and chain right. Might as well change all.

The brand is DID?

And yes I'm Chinese. 1/2 chinese to b exact.

 

i paid $60 for mine.

DID gold chain w/ matt black color aftermarket sprockets.

LAB told me he got $30+, 40+, 50+ 60+ and 70+ combination.

so i told him my budget and he fetch the relevant parts

i say take the relevant parts out, have a look then u will know where the problem lies.

most mechanics are really out to chop u by just hearing engine sound.

 

aside, knocking sound can be the result of different reasons.

cam, tensioner, conrod or piston, etc.

it can even be a combination of parts.

brave yr wallet and visit a reliable shop to have the engine stripped.

Does the gold chain look nice? What kind of combination for chain n sprocket nice?

bro thanks for replying. I was thinking of the whole set at the front lo..inclusive of the piece that cover the headlamp. would it be until 400bucks ar? one shop bullshit me say if i trade in my bike without fairing then minus 400 bucks from the trade in price.

Buy the cheapst shitty ass chain and then spray it pink. Sprocket also spray pink.

Thanks for both your answer! i guess we learn everything bit by bit la..yea le, thing is i wan to sell my bike liao le bro. dun wan to be too evil but im upgrading to 2a soon. any advice? the sound was there few months ago, then disappear after awhile, then now come back, even louder. have to off engine at lights so that other ppl dun look.

There's a trick.... get LAB to sell u chiong part cheap.. then come back again later say wrong part and make him order the real part.... then when come liao just take and go.... no need to pay extra... hehehhehhehe!

I don't mind spending abit more to get a better quality chain n sprocket so I won't hv problems with it in future.
