Hi there, am looking to seek reviews on this bike CBR 150R. Hope friends here can share their experience. Looking to "upgrade" from wave to CBR150.

1. Reliability

2. Acceleration from traffic light

3. Top speed

4. Highway crusing speed

5. Fast enough for first lane highway?

Thank you all who is willing to help! :)

1. Reliability - awesome (new to 3yrs+ no problem - only changed batt once)

2. Acceleration from traffic light (always 1st off cos small can squeeze to the front)

3. Top speed (for lightweight riders max 140km/hr - more if u heavier can tahan the vibration)

4. Highway crusing speed (wtf? up to u lah)

5. Fast enough for first lane highway? (singapore 100km/hr+ enough liao ma, how fast u want to go?)

1. See condition of bike

2. Good

3. 140km/h for good condition

4. 80-90km/h

5. Yes. Its the rider, not the bike.

use small flat tip screwdriver to pry out the black color plastic cover. it will reveal the allen key screwhead under.

be careful not to lose this plastic cover cause i don't think it's not that easily available.

1. Reliability - pretty good if the previous owner takes gd care of it.

2. Acceleration from traffic light - pretty ok, but there are always faster riders out there. it's pretty common for me to lose out to T135 & honda wave riders. :p

3. Top speed - 120km/h measured against car

4. Highway crusing speed - the bike cruise comfortably around 7K rpm. it's around 85km/h on my ride at this RPM in gear 6.

5. Fast enough for first lane highway? - to me, 1st lane is meant for overtaking. no problem overtaking, just squeeze abit more to 7.5K rpm and clear the

IMHO, no point upgrading from wave to cbr150 if it's about acceleration & speed u r concerned about.

the reasons why i hang on to cbr150 rather than my previous kups will be 1) slightly more sporty image 2) bigger fuel tank 3) less prone to theft

I bought the fairings. You'll needa re spray and there's no guarantee on it's safe arrival. For me, it arrived in broken pieces. T.T Needa patch and re spray ended up paying alot more. So far i haven't manage to patch the tail back as the broken part is the mounting part. not sure how to patch to make it strong enough to be mounted.

If it's not broken, you can use it straight away if you don't mind that the paint is painted using paint brush. lol
