CBR150R Outing!! **UPDATED**

 

Time: 8am

Date: 4th or 5th march

Plans: Trip to Kota Tinggi 4 duck rice, shopping & waterfall for swimming & feeding fish.

 

Timing should be, go early 8am, back b4 8pm latest into SG There will be no night riding on the Kota Tinggi trunk road - Leave KT by 4pm & if possible we could go into Kulai for a "nice" dinner.

There will be rest stop every 45mins. The 1st rest stop will be at Ulu Tiram.

 

Please state ur preference(date):

 

4th March Sat:

When the engine is on tick-over there are plinking sounds that sound just like the cams working. What do you think, is it normal? Is it the cam chain not tensioned properly?

 

I appreciate any feedback you can give before I invest in the bike.

 

By the way the mechanic there could communicate enough with me to tell me that the old monoshck can be changed with the new 2006 model one for about 1900 baht. You reckon he's right?

yup 80 - 90 is probably a good speed. :smile: :smile:

the sound come from the exhuast. Cos the exhaust is hot, then suddenly u off engine then no more hot air going out right. Then the pipe will start to contact. thus the tick tick tick sound comes from. No worries. :smile:
