hi all. im a new rider of the cbr150. got it for attachment (currently a student in ntu).

well, i dont know much about bikes since i use it mainly for transportation purposes. so yeap..

 

oh, hey dOn^, my bike is the exact same design as urs (because the salesman gave me the wrong design) and i also fixed a box. haha.

anyway, changing air cleaner once every 7000KM is quite hardcore

u ride yr bike in construction site or what? it shouldnt get so dirty if u were to ride on city roads one leh~

duno.. juz ride lor.. mostly also home to sch and vice versa only lei.. but then change le normally can fix the problem then dont change meh? unless speed affects? but i only go 110 on ur speedo only.. this kind of thing also cant control de mah..

i originally asked for the simple and striking orange/black design. the one without the repsol wording. although it didnt turn out the paintwork i wanted, i just stuck with it. no point re-doing it. but so far, this bike has served me well. only had one or two near-accidents. stupid drivers. haha yeap.

anybody know where to get and how much is the black knob on the end of your left and right handle grip? (look at attached image)

 

just dropped my bike on the left side at the down slope going into chijmes basement

 

saw that left knob missing. tried scouting the area for 30mins yet i couldnt find it

They are called Balancers.. erm, actually u can get at most bike shops. even comes in different colours, shapes n sizes.. can get it quite cheap at ah boy. i got mine at a normal bikeshop at $12 for a pair. ah boy shld b cheaper..

i juz found out frm my pillion that there is actually some warm air that comes out from the piece of fairing found between the rider and pillion seat

while riding juz now i went to feel the area and indeed it is warm

could this be traced to the air filter that is found under the seat??

 

i've also bought a 1litre bottle of ready-mixed coolant from Shell

i wonder if its enough for my coolant change

anyone can cfm the coolant capacity for our bike?

your balancer...

 

last time..

i dropped my bike before.. it also came out...

just poke back in..

hehehe...

 

basically no effect on the bike..

but make sure u check your alignment...

esp after dropping ur bike

hi guys wanna ask i just buang @ changi on my way to wrk my bike landed into the drain so what should i do now ?? i call for Tow liaoz ... any idea how much to spent for repair and other stuff ??

no scared brother, just take note of what u take out then u make sure u put back can liao.

the very most cannot put back, spend 25 dollars call for tow truck lor. i always tell myself that when i doing DIY. :cheeky:

affirmative, Don is right. got 2 things we're refering to.

 

air cleaner is change every 10k, a bit hardcore also ah. :cheeky:

not using it, u might experience discomfort to ur hands faster than if u have it. the balancers helps dampens the vibrations dealt to your hands while riding. am i wrong to say there? :smile:

damage to your pocket can only be assessed by your mechanic, cuz we never see the bike we also dunno what's spoilt.

 

most importantly, are you alright? sounds like a pretty serious mishap. :giddy:

ya just call up the motor shop they say around 600 bucks....went to CGH patch it up liaoz ok still bleeding was damn lucky my helmet save my head saw my side of the face grinding on the road also heng visor was down and was in army no4 heng damn tough uniform took alot of beating frm the road .....
