honestly, i dont think that is ever going to happen.

for the simple reason that once all the petrol kiosks in the area close, where are the people going to get petrol frm? not only sporeans affected, their own citizens are going to get hit too.

in no time, illegal petrol kiosks will pop up and eventually the legal kiosks will find themselves feeling totally stupid to create such a goldmine for others to tap on.

Agree on this. Heard it from my friend also but i doubt it will happen la. They can't afford to lose our support. I think the JB petrol kiosk nearby customs revenue 50% from Sg cars and bike.

on the other hand, this doesnt mean it is good for the gears to be changing gears at super low revs e.g. 3K -4K

 

personally i ride like a pus.sy, changing gears at ard 5K - 6K rpm. occassionally try to whack top speed for that few seconds. hope to keep the engine in working condition and able to gimme that extra bit of power when i needed it. :cheeky:

Hey bro, iridium plugs change already. Anyway i topped up V power after changing the plugs. Now the bike response better ley. Dunno how to explain but definitely can fill the difference. Dunno whether its the plug or the petrol. Usually i pump F1 synergy. hahaz.

Hey i went to H L Cycle at Eunos to service. My opinion of the shop quite good.

 

Anyway heard of that shop? What are your thoughts on that shop?

well if i not wrong, they are suggesting this due to the increasing cases of robbery at the petrol kiosk late at night. well there's the pros n cons

actually i tink 8K RPM still ok la. although abit on the high side. just aim to avoid maintaining at redline for too long.

Not racer ah, anyway changing gear at that rpm ok right if change engine oil very often?

 

Anyway i saw this transparent tube dangling under my bike. What hose is that aH?

i think tt's fine if u service and take care of ur bike properly. limbat also rides like that and his engine is still in tip-top condition! :smile:

that will probably help lots i guess. i'm not entirely sure too. perhaps watch the clutch plates, chain cam tensioner and of course brakes!!

 

think our bike got a problem with front brakes. the front brake master cylinder seems vulnerable. a lot of us changed tt already. my CBR 1 year plus old changed tt already cuz braking on the front is uneven.

Resolution for 2009, stay healthy, get wealthy, make more friends, ride safely & pass all exams!

probably just another 1 of those hoses to channel excessive overflowing oil, coolant, petrol, water, etc. or maybe crank case breather.

dont need to get too distracted with those. :p

Bro, i don't know about your bike but mine got 3 black hose. Last time don't have this transparent hose. Now got ley after i change plug the other day. If safe i continue riding lor. ANyway next time i go servicing i ask the guy.

Bro, whats wrong with the front brake? Will so called vibrate is it when you brake? Thats the only thing i feel ley.

hey jet.. hope u recover soon.. how did u get into an accident? is it u corner too low or u self skidded ? would like to know and hope can prevent any accident in the future..

Bro, take care. This bike cornering sucks especially with stock tyres. I almost buang also near my house. Anyway my bike can top 160 km/h but redline liao. Unless you are willing to sacrifice a bit then try. ERrm, try only at night. Watch out for hidden cams.

 

The other day TP give me NDP present.
