Dearest CBRerz,

 

I was juz told by ma bestfwen dat she lost her bikey.. We seek ur help to keep a lookout fer ma bestfwens bike.. itz a CBR150.. Plate no FW 6507 Z.. itz black/blue/red in color.. Last seen was at Blk 107 Jln Bukit Merah on 29.03.08 (Saturday).. Was told by her that she actually sent fer repair.. but the workshop is juz so fcukup.. dey like no reaction dat her bike got lost at their workshop.. newayz, yea~ itz sumwhere at lower delta & tiong bahru..

 

If u have any qns or tips.. pls do lemme noe.. Your help is greatly appreciated..

Ben, still cannot manage to keep those pins down from the box to the plate. Pls share with me the trick u used for the other boxes? I put larger screws up top and stuffed some material in the cover to stop those pins from going in but now the pins just push up the cover.... still thinking that using a simple connector may be more reliable...

 

Btw, general q: I thought the lights in the box should function as normal rear light as well as brake light or not? Or need another wire for this to function?

the box light only comes on when the rear brakes are depressed.

 

sorry i didn't really see how Ben did his trick. they only showed me what was used and gave me a rough idea. still, if Ben can do it, you can do so too!

er, i don't quite understand the situation here.

 

she brought her bike to workshop for repair, the workshop left it outside the shop, got stolen, and the shop denies ever taking it in for repairs? that's whack!

Sure mate if can start = np, if cannot start = gp, if sometimes can sometimes cannot, then really got problem ................

 

As for reading - u need to hv a volt meter.......... mine is reading 12.5v b4 starting, running is 14.9v but still cannot start bec i travel only 2km to buy 4d & comeback ................. haiz................. big big problem ....... [/QUOT]

 

 

Lets say i remove my seat, i get my multimeter and measure.. starting vote is 12.5 ? then when i throttle it should hit about 14??

I dunno but if you leave ur bike with a shop for repairs and they allow it to get stolen, let them replace it. Its with them and if they leave it somewhere for anyone to take it they need to take the heat for it

Hmm seems like my bike too having the same problem, according to a place where i changed the battery, said my volts are low, and the battery is 'rarely' charged ... Think it's the alternator ? How to solve this ?

Upper Bukit Timah Road costs $1 between 8am to 8.30am. I would normally have to leave home about 8.30ish plus minus to get to work. Hope it won't affect me going to school next month.
