i guess the market is really small and few people consider it for their first ride.

or maybe people who buy this bike like it so much that they don't sell it? i mean how often do you come across 2nd hand CBR150s for sale?

our most recent one will be Zheng Yuan's, and the only reason he's selling is cos he's defecting to the dark side, aka buy car.

Feel that most rides in Singapore are too short to really enjoy music... but I guess if u are riding a lot, it can definitely be more enjoyable. Also it may be better for your hearing (depending of the volume u play your music of course). I read that it is advised to use earplugs on longer rides as the constant noise can be quite tiring.

i still think that being able to hear your surrounding noises is important. like the sound of a nearby engine warns you of a car that's going to cut you from behind.

also, hearing my engine gives me a good idea of when to change gear. don't want to over rev, JB petrol cheap, but still costs money.

I agree with you on the importance of being able to hear your engine but for those guys on real performance bikes that go for long distance touring, they can rely on mirrors and have less worry about shifting gears all the time. Then the fact that loud noises wear people out can really be a good argument for wearing noise reduction earplugs...

Btw Zed, I thought it was already brought up before that high revs don't necessarily mean high fuel consumption, its more the whacking of the power all the time? Can whack power and still change gears at 4000 rpm and burn fuel like no tomorrow?

yeah that's a good point raised up too.

but as compared to other make/models, very seldom i will see a cbr OTR. :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Well, they are not as common as the cubs or superfours but I see one at least every time I hit the road (and I don't mean that literally for those with a sharp sense of humour) Never seem to recognise the riders and they dont seem to be too interested in other CBR150s either...

Your KIPS should be able to match or not? Most speed CBR150 can achieve is around 140/150 kph... more than enough on e-way in Singapore

Where did you see this CBR? Colour scheme? Was it our bumble bee?

KR can reach 160 easily, 180 is no problem in fact

for the first time since i bought my bike 6 months ago, she has finally tasted Singapore petrol.

just like our local girls, once she's had more expensive stuff, even though the petrol is technically the same thing, she's going to want more of SG wine. =(

One is loud enough, but must not be air horn. A good relay is a must, don't want it to fail when you need it most (to honk at pretty girls :cheeky: ).

Why do you guys want to change the horn? I feel the stock 1 is very loud already. Sometimes I want to horn pedestrian also feel guilty. LOL...

Btw, hope your wife doesnt read this forum, or else.... :cheeky:

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

Check the forum thread on ducati's, the Ducati website (minerva dealer) doesn't show anything. Are you considering one of those? Respect man :thumb:

But seriously, u have class 2 license already? :giddy:

monster do come in a 400cc series right? Still considering all available options for 2a. these are just plans though.
