So we go for an evening ride under leadership of uncle Lim?

Program:

Go to makan place with Uncle Lim via 2nd link. Leaving after 8 pm. Meet up first at petrol station off AYE before checkpoint (just a suggestion, arnd 8.30 pm?)

Who's in:

1) Uncle Lim (tourguide - pls confirm)

2) Nils (buying drinks)

3) Zed (preparing for the 160kph)

Guys, i am really thinking of organising a ride for you all - maybe this coming June ( via the 2nd link ). This weekend is not good - i got a long trip coming up & i really need to plan & organise ........... sorry ......... :sorry: :sorry:

Not sure when but got interested parties for the bike and may sell next week already so then cannot go riding together anymore.... sorry u cannot make it this weekend, then we need to plan alternative

ok, here's the plan. we're going to attempt to go to the steamboat place that Derrick knows. he has promised not to be racer and leave us in the dust, and Zheng Yuan (pillon) is making sure his added weight will see to that.

Yep the shop is the 1st one next to the harley bikes shop. wah $120? hmm for me, im a regular there. so can still bargain with the auntie and the old mechanic too..

i thot usually the mech will refer u to the auntie for pricing issues?

i agree that they are nice folks

juz the pricing part im less comfortable.

Yes, tks Zed, I recieved his sms. I'm not joining you all for the ride to Jb as I hv got early appointment with overseas guests the next day. But will be able to meet up at rail mall for starbucks if its not too late.

 

Great Ben glad u can make it for the meet up before we head off. Remind me to hand u back your tyre repair kit. Its in my bike backseat storage...

Jus got back from Sungei Rd - not all the rd-side stores are open yet. Zed, i saw 2 sets of the SD rams that i am looking for but they are only 64MB asking s$5 each ............... how ?? too small right ?

Outing was great. Thanks to Derrick for playing tour guide and the others for coming along. At least I have a last good memory of what it was like to ride a bike in Singapore (and to do petrol runs to JB)...

Hi Lazy, sorry to have missed you...must be a tough job to be working till 2 am. Hope for your sake the pay is worthwhile even though they do not pay OT?

 

Anyways, I will be back in singapore sooner or later and then we can still organise meeting again... just no motor cycle tours anymore (unless I can rent one ;-)
