the PMO is basically for a device that taps on the existing signal light circuit on our bike. some re-wiring are done to accomodate the device.

 

pilot light means when:

signal light switch off - both front left & right signal lights will be on.

left signal light switch on - both front and rear left side signal lights will on & blink while right signal lights off.

right signal light switch on - both front and rear right side signal lights will on & blink while left signal lights off.

 

it works pretty similar to the signal lights u c on super4.

my name is on the PMO listing as i had previously purchased a trial set. the trial set has since broken down and they are replacing a new factory made set for me.

back from eugene's! he rewrapped my seat to the non slip one, black colour, with red sides for the pillion one. added a bit of cushion as well for both. he charged me $65. quite acceptable price, as much as i've been reading from the other threads.

 

he's really nice and soft spoken. he told me the new material will stretch over the next few days, so when it does, go back to him and he will re-stretch it again..

 

pleasant experience there.

 

on the other hand, i went to Regina to check out on the side caps and visor for my helmet. i was taken aback! it will come up to more than $100 for both items! side caps $65, and visor another $40+.. omg.. not worth it lah. I walked over to LAB and he said, "friend, i sell u at a loss lah. brand new ogk rgx $60." i almost fainted.

 

and i tried to get screws for my bike cos some rusty. it was at the shop just a few shops away from LAB. he came out to look, and told me some cant be changed (the ones at the forks for both tyres). but some others can. ok, so i bought six aft counting. two at the fuel tank, the other four for around the speedo areas.

 

in the end, only 2 can fit. cos the washers cannot fully sit into the fairing groove ard the hole. -.-

 

went to the other hardware store behind the coffee shop. bought 4 to try. hopefully can sit in nicely. gee. and he aint the most polite of bosses too.

I think what Don meant is that the signal lights will blink faster than our stock signal lights. Don, correct me if Im wrong.

 

Anyway, I just came back from Race Werks. Service was good by Norman. He found out that the starter cable is not connected to the point just under the petrol tank. He rewired all the messy cables.

 

As for the wooble (move left & right), the other uncle found out that I changed the bearing that is not from Japan just by riding my bike. He advice me to change coz the cone (from thailand) is not perfectly straight. Thats why my bike can move left & right, due to unstraight steering cone.

 

Some more I rmbr the JB uncle DID KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK when he install the new steering cone. Could that be the problem? Zed....

 

The Race Werks uncle (dono his name, Norman too busy with big bike) told me that normally if install the Thailand made 1, he will less 1 bearing. E.g. If got 18 bearings (small balls), he will put 17 bearings only. Any comment guys??? :help:

 

I ask him to take out 1 ball, he said $30 (but I didnot do) and new Japan made Steering cone bearings cost $85. When I want to go back he said will give me discount if I decide to change. Guys, please advice me...

 

Btw, the uncle charge me $20 ($12 for EO and $8 for labour).

hmm 1 of a good mech went to MY own shop.. used to from bikeworkz.. but too bad i duno where is he plus i no clue on MY road.. hes a very good mech though did alot of touch up for my bike too.. like example my bike drop before, fairing out of spot, i never ask , he also ownself help me to straighten them back try to fit inside the spot..

Zed, u know what Im afraid of? When he knocked2 my handle bar (installing the steering cone), I scared my handle bar become senget ler. If what Race Werks uncle said is true, then Im not worry. Cone not straight still can change by spending another $80. But if the handle bar(the black steel that hold our bike from front till the end/bike bone) senget, I cant imagine alrdy....

 

I just wonder, Thailand so advance in making bike and parts alrdy, imposible they cant make the steering cone perfectly straight. Right or not?

 

I believe in Honda Original Parts, no matter where the products made from.

I nvr think that changing steering cone & bearings can impact so much to the bike. Somemore, Zed and Don(or who) did change their steering cone bearings in JB
