i love the egg story. i think it might work. but there are so many vehicle owners in sg, not just the bikers. everyone must play a part to make this happen!

 

i'll start doing this.. i'm looking forward to happy petrol days again!

i have already done my full service

 

changed new piston & rings, cam tensioner, plastic picce that tensioner presses on, timing chain.

i dun think this will work..

as i will think in the oil industry, they have abundance of area to store the oil that they dug..

and for example a 50L car tank we go and pump 10bucks, its like every couple of days we will pump another 10bucks which eventually does not make a diff.. becos their refilling truck will just have to schedule to come at a later date..

we are too small a grp to make much of an impact, worse come to worse, they can stop digging for 1 2 days which its really not possible lah...

 

its really diff from the chickens as the hen lay eggs out of nature and its something we cannot control...

but supply > demand, they can do something about it...

still, it only has 200km on the meter.

 

it's like buying a brand new bike, which has been sitting in the showroom for 6 months, at a $1000 discount.

 

sounds terrible to have kept the bike around for 6mths clocking juz 200km on it. imagine the poor fella everyday yearning to be rode out on the road. :p

 

looking at the 2 other bikes in the backdrop of the posted picture, i highly suspect selling price is still negotiable.

It won't work, even if we manage to get everyone to do that, they(oil producing country) will just run the pump slower to draw less oil out from the ground. Its not like the oil has to rush out of the ground at a fixed volume like the hens..

 

precisely what i meant...

 

theres something thats can be controlled and something thats out of nature and cannot be controlled and the petrol vs egg story is just nice on the contrary...

not really, but recently ride feels different and since its 5yr old, i am thinking of keeping it till end of coe, so might as well do a good job if i am going to do ANY stuff on her (i.e. why go for cup C, just go for cup DD since going under the knife already).

 

lol... cute analogy!

 

but sometimes big does not mean good. look at our handphones, from last time water bottle big to now can even become cigarette pack small!

ya i always drop by jusco but never eat or drink their coffee cos starbucks in malaysia is so much nicer than sg's ones so that's what i usually go for.. haha..

it's simple electronic science. less features, less parts internally, less chance of one part breaking down!

 

people now-a-days slap themselves (by wanting super featured phones) and asking why it hurts (when they complain when it often breaks down).

 

DUH! stardee so much all got PHD (permanent head damage) but can't see this simple cause and effect!?
