basically for stainless stain rewrap service is available @ sengkwang located at ang mo kio industrial park, $70 - $80 for a super4 end can

or

Guan Hoe Cheong @ 1110 serangoon road

if carbon fiber/matt black, bikewerkz @ bukit merah does provide that service but the bad news it that like what collectees said "the CF sticker will melt due to the heat and it looks like ...."

or $5 CF sticker @ lab heee heee

anyone interested in rewrapping of stainless steel? maybe can get discounts ^_^

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

slightly less than a $100, that sounds like a good bargain. May i ask where can i get it from? i don't want yours hor lol.

btw any information for Year04 Repsol fairings? Does fairings include like the side body plastics parts from the fuel tank to the rear light + the pillion's handle + the 1 piece of plastics on top of the rear light?

it's about $300 right?

the exact price i know is $95, at Everfit. i might be able to get a better price, though.

btw, mine has a carbon-kevlar wrap. it's not for sale. =P

with regard to fairings, please note that the various colors of different years can be bought easily. it's the stickers are are very difficult to replace. these plastics range from $35-$45 EACH.

where we can get new endcan? can do by self? :D

drop me a PM and we'll go down to Everfit to make the purchase together.

replacing the endcan is as simple as removing 4 screws. if you're going to make the replacement, it is advisable to buy 4 stainless steel screws to use instead of the old rusty ones.

I'm wondering whether the new '08 CBR125 fairings can fit on an '06 CBR150. The head cowl of the new one definitely looks a lot nicer than our current one.

the short answer is no.

if you have taken apart our head cowl, you will notice that the chassis requires mounting support via our mirrors. the CBR125 mirrors are mounted on the handle bars. the different in the mounting points will make securing the fairings difficult. if normal use vibrations can crack our properly mounted fairings, imagine what happens to an unsecured one?

i'm not saying that it's impossible; i have seen pictures of Toyota MR2s being modified to look like Gallardos. however, is it worth all that effort? the '06 CBR150 (in red) is the best looking year!

zed do u remember that time we went to JB to change EO and the uncle mechanic said that my exhaust pipe inside got something that is loose, hence the rattling when i throttle?

if i change the end can, can i get to that problem and get it fixed?

the answer is yes, as you will be replacing the entire endcan.

i remember bro Shivaz got the end-can for smth like $80 at Unique (include installation).

maybe u all want to give them a call 1st to check?

do note there is a possiblity that the 4screws get stuck due to the rust, etc.

mine are. strangely, this gives me the secured feeling that pple cant steal my end-can (unless they take the entire exhaust including the header).

so pls do check that the 4screws are not stuck before u proceed to DIY the end-can.

my mirrors are mounted at handlebar too.

in place of the original mirror stems, are screws to hold the head fairing in place.

after taking a closer look at the cbr125 at:

http://www.ggmotorcycles.ca/index_files/07cbr125red.jpg

my main concern will be the mounting points for the front fairing.

cbr125 2008 front fairing is 1 entire piece front + side bottom.

different from our cbr150 front + side middle + side bottom.

from the cbr125 forum below, our headlight harness will need to be modified to fit H7 bulbs. further wiring mod to accomodate additional auxiliary light on top of the headlight is necessary if u want to.

http://www.cbr125r.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=278

i would reckon the below items need to be replaced:

- front fairing

- headlights & aux light (including bulb and wire harness)

- metal sub-frame (holding on to the headlight & front fairing)

- meter assembly (including the black color plastics at both the sides of the assembly)

- signal lights

- bubble screen

:giddy:

ben: u support capital i support labor & we try it out on yr ride? :p

here's another alternative, as suggested by d0n.
