changed bigger tyre cos last week i played the round-about near my place then i low sided.

 

so now with this one hopefully i can win Derrick!

uncle, how do i check if its leaking?

 

1st check if itis leaking by putting a newspaper under yr bike over night, check for oil stain in the morning. If hv oil leaking stain check where is the leak then talk to yr LBS for solution. If no leaking oil stain - u r in deep ****........... mate

probably the piston rings havent been doing a good job in keep the engine oil from entering the combustion chamber, as a result, all kena burnt away.

how many kilometers did u do before the recent oil change?

seems to me the condition of the piston rings are really bad such that all the oil were burnt away.

 

Don's recommendation: get the engine dismantled at reliable shop and do up the inners asap. no engine oil means engine likely to overheat means piston jam/seize likely to take place. when that happens, be prepared to burn a lagi bigger hole in pocket.

do remember to take measurements of the needle positioning before u attempt to pluck them out frm the meter~

However, i heard from somewhere saying that with bigger tyre you cant outrun smaller tyre (with the same bike).

depending on how bad the damage done to yr engine inners is. if lucky, can be saved using minimum $450. if not, looks like u gotta saveup for at least $600 - $800 for new engine block.

 

by the time it reaches piston jam stage, i don't know if $1K is sufficient or not liaoz.
