use sticker lah.. :faint: cheap and good.

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

is rubbing compound same as turtle wax's polishing compound?

nope, polishing compound gives you a layer of wax to cover any light scratches. rubbing compound removes a thin layer of paint away...

if its light scratches and very bad tarnish..

i know wat can remove it..

use JIF.. or now change to CIF..

its actually to clean household products..

but use that to clean bike.. also gd..

esp if your rims dam dirty..

u CIF and then clean with water or straight away wipe with dry cloth..

awesome results.. :D

For the plastic part its okay to use JIF or CIF...but not ur tank or other metallic part...it will spoil ur paintwork...at least it used to spoil my rxz tank paintwork last time...

i used cif on my ex-bike xr4's plastic and it loose it's shine and become dull..

maybe i applied too much pressure..

for rims i think it's ok, but on plastic, better not..

I tried the Turtle Wax polishing compound. Not so effective. Scratches still visible. Felt a bit $$$ waste. :(

just keep polishing, like polishing boots, takes abit of patient..

if scratches is deep, get a touch-up pen from 'home-fix' and read and follow the instruction inside..

the pen is usually located near to the cashier.. $10 each..
