i dunno the properties of both fluids or the composition.

But i'll gladly drink pure distilled bottled water that is sold at watsons compared to bottled battery water sold at petrol kiosks.

omg~ 1 of my fren added in normal tap water will it damage the battery?

the thing about tap water is... it has minerals and impurities... which in the VERY VERY LONG RUN... it'll kill the well cells in the batt..

however, tap water in singapore (also referred to soft-water) is okie for batteries... shouldnt kill the battery too fast...

Yes but most of the time, city riding is not enough to fully charge the battery. this causes the battery premature death/failure. Best way to maintain a battery is to have it trickle charged fully with the aid of a purposely manufactured battery charger.

Some threads before have info about a certain battery charger that is available at Sim Lim Tower for S$20-30.

We carry CTEK electronic Battery chargers - XS800 ( 500grams ) is priced at

S$65 including free local postage.
