he got go report police.. but duno can claim the car's insurance anot.. hopefully can..

Is your father able to 'confront' the driver after the accident? Or did an ambulance came? Or did the Maxda driver took him to hospital?

 

Anyway, my point is it'll be much easier to claim if both parties had filled up the accident form thingy and both agree to the circumstance and sign on it. Else, it will be your father's word against his, if the driver decided to play punk.

 

If the bike is not very badly damaged, try to settle privately. If he claim it is the taxi's fault, then he is suppose to claim from the taxi, but your dad claims from him i.e. you do not need to prove the taxi's fault because that is the Mazda's problem.

 

Pls let us know. I think we will all benefit from such a real life lesson.

i hope your dad mentioned about the cab when taking statement... and let TP charge the taxi driver for reckless driving even though he is not directly involved in the accident...

 

also hoped your dad has a speedy recovery...
