Speed cam at expressways

Fellow bros, i wanna ask about speed cams in express way. I was riding at about 120kmph on KRR and i saw ahead of me a speed cam the ones on the lamp posts. I immediately brake and wen down my speed to 100kmph then i saw the camera have green LED light blinking about 2 or 3 times when my bike directly in line with the cam. after that i saw another cam ahead and i went 80kmph, i look at the cam, also got the green LED blinking at me.. what happen? was i flashed?

I have doubt on your above mention questions.

1. You rode and 120 and slow down to 100 and you can see the speed cam mounted on those lamp green light blinking 2 or 3 times.

 

2. When you in line with cam, saw another at 80km/h and you see the green led blinking at you.

 

All these things happen in split seconds and you're able to see them in actions? You have good strong power eye. Concentrate on the road and look in front dude.. Heh heh heh

Those are not speed cams, but cameras to monitor traffic. Actual speed cams (Fixed) are usually signposted way in advance. (PIE,BKE,AYE,ECP,CTE).

 

If I'm not wrong, actual speed cameras also take up more space than a conventional camera due to the additional unit that tracks and calculates the vehicle's speed. Rest easy, my friend. And dont speed.
