u mean u send to the svc ctr & they didn't do anything? jus told u got prob with the bios & gave u back?

anyway, i would suggest u reset ur bios but since u mean u IT "bai chi", veri hard to explain to you. you actually jus have to open ur the casing & take out a small batt on the motherboard. but if ur laptop is under warranty, then pls dont try to open

You're right about what the battery should look like...but be warned: DIY'ing by dismantling the notebook in any way might void any warranty that your notebook still has.

Moreover, I'm quite suspicious with your notebook. The problem described by you seems to be that your BIOS is corrupt. The things that you might wanna do is to keep your fingers crossed and hope that your BIOS can be fixed...and that it's not a permanent problem.

Go to another shop, see what they say.

BTW, to put it as an analogy, a computer's BIOS is something like a bike's electric-starter.

If it's spoilt, the whole bike won't start, even if the engine's working fine.

Same thing with your notebook. Once you turn it on, a corrupt BIOS makes it stop loading and stays still.

ok, since now u found the batt, i hope you didn't void your warranty.

take out the "watch" battery, make sure got no power source like ur laptop batt or plugged to power supply, push & hold ur power on button for ard 10 sec. put back the watch batt & power up your laptop. your BIOS should have been resetted.

do this only if you are very sure its BIOS prob & need to reset
