Anyone know how to make the HISS blink when the bike is turned off ? i can't seemed to activate it.

 

Any kind soul to enlighten me ?

turn the key to "on".

press & hold the LEFT buttom till the HiSS blink once.

end

 

turn the key to off & see if the HiSS blink anot.

 

anyway,the HiSS led will only blink for 24hrs.after that it will not blink liao.unless u insert key to switch on & off again.

saw an ang moh wif a weird looking tailboard over the wkend

 

, cos the tail lights looks like its on the undertray, then i realise its the gp tailboard, looks abit weird to me though wif the tail light below the pipe, looks abit crabby to me, not crap, but the shape looks like a crab, wif both ends pointing out

 

 

my bike at 31k mileage is starting to have a slight ticking sound, i went to boon siew over the wkend to buy a fallen bolt, n jus shun bian ask the mechs there listened n tell me its okie, if any louder gotta go for top clearance, u guys done urs ?

 

feels abit sad leh, these are signs for aging, n the bike is only 1yr 8 mths old, thanks to hikaru for riding to tuas everyday previously, wahahaha, when i took over at the 1 yr mark its already 18k

 

 

 

 

u guys have that ?

Last time my F4i got tis ticking sound..tink due to the tensioner lifter..but RR is automatic tensioner lifter. have nt encounter any sound frm my previous RR.

mine would not be a fair compare.as for the past year.it only clock 4k km nia.still long way to go.

 

maybe Alzzz or mechwira had better ideal on it.

It may be the shim but not serious tho. 31K mileage is quite low to do valve clearance.

U clock more mileage than him wor......

 

He clocked 18k a year, 1 month = 1500KM

U, 13K for 8 months, 1 month = 1625KM

 

Is the sprocket size stock? might affect quite an amount too, unless u have installed any speedo-healer.

 

My '04 RR is close to 40K mileage, didn't hear any significant tickling sound. My sprocket size for rear is 45 though. Actual mileage is lower. Should go for clearance too. Doesn't seems to be a normal servicing here which it is supposed to be. Interval of about 15K for valve clearance? Somewhere there i remembered. Am holding back because of the skill level of mechanics here. Most do more harm than good.

Ur 4k of mileage is almost all riden in the way that the bike is built for. Unlike most of us here.

cos i got it 6 mths before i ord n my camp is at west side, clocked ard 100km per day, mine is all stock sprocs, but the its cominng near the wear line indicator liao

my bike 1 yr 4 mths, only 16k mileage, 99% of which not used for what its intended. but still shiok ride during off-peak get to play corners and drag-launch off red lights . peak periods..... i would rather stop and drink kopi until after 7pm then continue my journey insted of riding during peaks....

 

anyone going to use the bike for wat its intended for anytime soon?

Still yet to change my tyres, haven't been riding my bike. Convert to weekend bike liao and it's raining for the past weekends! Almost everyday in fact....

no..i dunno "whats wrong" with it...cos hong leong mech also "dont know" wheres wrong......lolz.....i give-up !
