It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

hey guys .. any one having problems with the OEM foot rest during track sessions?

was wondering if any of u guys changed it before ..

Im also looking for a cbr 600rr 2005 battery tray.. tried asking a few places but all said no stock ... anyone knows where to get 1 ??

any recommendation for head lights too ? wanna change to a real bright one ..

wah, one trip to k&t today and burnt a hole in my wallet.

 

motul 300v x4

oil filter

maxima kool-aid

brake fluid flush

motovation bar-end balancer/slider

rear brake pads

front brake pads HH x2

FP60

 

kaoz sportsbike expensive toy.......

 

 

oso went to motoworld intending to buy cheek pads for my HJC, turns out they onli have stock of XL size. now regret buy helmet model where only got 1 dealer. the helmet is great for its price, but if i cant buy replacement parts..... unless somebody know where i can get HJC cheek pads (besides internet).

blue vision shd provide you with enuff illumination even on roads with no head lamps. $65.

 

but i changed by blue vision for diamond vision coz i wanted white. probably less illumination than blue vision, but its bright enuff to literally light up all the signboards in front of me at night, almost like they're neon lights. $85.

I've juz bought a 2nd hand FX '03 model from WF in Sims Drive... Something seems wrong cos top speed only 180+km/h... Could it be something wrong with the onboard com?

 

Anyone got any outings recently? Would like to meet up wth more bikers!

How do u define top speed? 6th gear full throttle? Reaching 200km/hr on a CBR600RR should be pretty fast if u drag though the gears. My bike have problems climbing up anything above 220-230+km/hr due to my settings. Need a very LONG stretch of road to reach 250+km/hr. Hope u didn't try ur top speed locally.

 

Problems with ur speedo is almost impossible. Check ur sprocket size though i think u have low possibility of ur top speed being caused by it, unless it's a trick bike. U would probably wheelie anyway, LOL....

 

For outings, check out this thread. U can organise too if u are comfortable enough.

May i know how much mileage u have travelled? My pads are still pretty thick even till now. Or u changed it not because of wear & tear?

 

Expensive toy? haha, automotive as a hobby is never gonna be cheap.

u mean the diamond vision?

 

yah, but in terms of illumination, u want white i still see like philips provide the most among al the other white bulbs. i see before other brands, very 'bright' like super-bright white decorative lights on the front of the car, yet it illuminates very little on the road. the diamond vision i try before expressway blackout in singapore its still good. want more illum, use blue vision, but its not white lah of course.

inspection no problem 1
