Anywaym gonna hit 2000km soon... Wanna change to engine oil liao... Anyone have any good brand to reccommand??

 

If not i gonna use Esso gold liao... 20bucks per bottle...

 

Any reccommandation pls state brand and price...

hi guys...jus bought a 03rr not long ago....have anyone encounter tis problem tat the bike travel halfway engine stall...den the fuel injection light come on n off n bike cant start...encounter tis problem in 2nd n haf to puch my bike all the way back to sg..

i encountered it once, no idea wat caused it.

 

prior to my incident, i had serviced my bike by changing oil and coolant. riding my bike out of the shop, i immediately felt that my bike was 'smoother'. at the time, i tot either the oil or perhaps the kool-aid that i had changed from normal coolant was doing a wonderful job.

 

later on, i realized the 'smooth' feeling was actually because my idling had dropped to just under 1000rpm. previously it was close to 1500rpm. how this occurred, i do not know. at this point, the 'smooth' feeling felt more like bike anytime can die when i idle at stationary or clutch in. which it did. cruising into an etate, i clutch-in, ready to come to complete stop, engine died.

 

after my engine died, i was ready to call tow truck. but later on, it managed to start. i immediately upped the idling back to 1500rpm. haven had a repeat incident since. been 2 years since.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

icic...i sent to bike shop to check..the shop owner told me is something to do wif my fuel injection...on off on off...tat's y my petrol cant flow...nw got nightmare goin to 2nd link...

Try to increase your idling to +-1,300K rpm first. If there's really a problem, your MILS light will hint you first.

Coz Monday i have a long working day again....

 

Think most probably i will arrange it on the comin Friday depending on my work schedule... Sunday i guess its too last min and not many pple can make it...
