Where did u get the quote of $550 from? Ebay sells them at about USD270 which is about SGD460.

Maybe can try Unity for 2nd hand? Yet to ask about the price for a new one there.

eh can i clarify something which has nothing to do wif 600RR....

'Albert' is located at alexander village izzit?

then this shop at lavender which is a branch of mah is called what? thats the one i bought my bike from, i tot it was the one called albert. all receipts and paperwork i do wif this shop has 'mah' on it rather than its shop name. i donno wat its name is, but some other thread cant remember which, a member described this shop (as located in lavender and a branch of mah) and called it albert, dats why all the while i tot it was albert.

so i now i blur, but just to clarify, all my posts about the shop which i bought my bike from refers to this branch of mah located somewhere at lavender. watever the name.

just changed a new battery.

fyi guys, according to looi's, stock battery for cbr6/1 can be problematic sometimes...

once they had a customer bought a brand new cbr and tow back the next day....bcox of the battery...

so once u need to press start longer than usual, quickly go n change ur battery

else u will be ended up trying hard to push start (if it works), or waste money on towing service (which i did)

:cheeky: haha yeah lor at first i also thought u were saying the albert at alexander also.. haha.

It's doesn't matter how fast you can go, becos at the end of the day it's the size of your bike that counts.

But it does matter how low you CAN go, becos in the end it's the size of your BALLS thats counts.

im not good at electrical stuffs but based on my personal opinion, i think its the voltage that plays critical role in starting the engin...

when the battery is "flat"....the bike's horn, signal light, headlight, rear light, etc are still functional as usual.

just that the voltage drop in the battery causing a problem to ignite the spark plug...therefore the engin can not run...

im not very sure abt it but i guess this is how it works.

just one last note for u guys, when the battery is abt to flat, not just the press start takes longer time than usual, my mileage indicator "A" & "B" and the time also reset to zero and 1:00 respectively....

so if u experience this next time, bring ur bike to bike shop n change the battery asap...

I see. I think BikeTec 21 quoted me $500+ too.

But i would need a Dyno if i were to get it here in sgp which is most probably Unity. Was told that it's ard $600+ including dyno run.

If get from overseas, will download the mapping from dynojet and see if it runs well or not. Most probably not, cause of the weather, humidity, etc. Then after that run a dyno, at least can feel the difference.

The voltage and current of the batt is related. Gd condition batt measure at 14+V.

Abit weird that ur electrical stuffs are still working normally, usually if the crank is weak (cannot start) the lightings would be weak also.

Hi bro.

If your friend hand carry the brand new item

by himself or a friend of him.

Maybe can get that price.

If not it can't be as the the cheap freight alone

cost 40 plus sing but NO GARANTY.

Keep in mind that this item is sensitive and VERY GOOD.

Why someone would sell it of so fast?

Even a koocoo bird like me can feel the diferent.

On line can be cheaper by a few dollars cause

the freight you must bear.

Not to give you headache but only a suggestion

:sorry: :sorry: :sorry:

Hi bro.

For your info.

It's better to install individual switch for the headlight.

As you need 12volt direct from the battery to crank the engine.

After the engine start you can turn on the headlight

as the magneto coil will take over to supply the current.

Correct me if I"m wrong

Thanks
