It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

drive up is not a issue...as long as u guys are willing to wait for me to clear custom lor....lolz..the JAM is killing me laterly.

to go PG..we can use woodland custom...maybe after PG can go permas jaya for food/drinks/petrol BUT no dvd/vcd...there.

bike crime is quite high over in JB laterly....so far permas jaya still "quite" ok.:bounce:

oh..i miss that point out.

there is a different in "P.I" bike & agant bike shipping method hor.

Agant shipping .example HONDA,ship the bike in a box, where there are fixture on the metal frame rack.the fixture has holes/hook to secure the bike during transpotion time.some box has inner alu wrap sheild.for weather protection.

P.I shipping - pump Gas & ride the bike into a 30 feet contianer.

since P.I bikes are source in japs open market.the factory would not offer "shipping package option" aka the BOX.since they assume the bike were sold to locals & the customer would just ride it away.no extra gease/wax/protection sticker were apply on the bike b4 hand-over to dealer.

*well...u pay more for a "peace of mind" & a factory warranty.(it will come in handy if big ticket items needs claiming la.)

it like cars too. Agant cars will ship in the same way as P.I BUT agant cars will have extra protection stick(those white type) on it roof, boot, bonnet & rubber stopper on the door edge & paper sticker on the windscreen & heavy duty grease spray all over/under the car.while P.I cars has none of that.

Yeah, i saw b.s. dismantle the cover, metal frame, etc. That is really fresh from the box. Not much idea about P.I. bikes though.

enjoy, i tot u said u went to track on the s4 before?

if wanna go track together, i hope a veteran can organise. i have never stepped out of this island on my bike before, so impossible for me to be organiser this time.

Ya, the one and only once. It was a joy ride anyway. Tyres were crappy and fishtailed all over the place when i try to brake for turn 9, scare the hell outta me. Know shits about riding posture and understeer like hell. That was over a year plus already, only have a vague impression for the route there and the layout of the circuit.

Though it was a crappy session, still had tons of fun cos the track was almost empty, less than 5 bikes on the track. It's more of an experience in track b4 i got enlisted.

errr...... i dont think the track is available anytime, any date right?

it might be closed for maintenance/preparation for upcoming event, or the car enthusiasts might have booked the track already?

shall we call the contact person to check the available dates first?

also, is there a requirement for minimum number of bikes before a booking can be confrmed?

lets say we do a 3-hr session, 2pm-5pm....how much will it cost? RM35 per hr?

is 3 hours too short or too long btw? :cheeky:

now ur getting me worried.

the PG surface is rougher than road rite? so shdn there be more grip? how did u end up fishtailing everywhere? were u pushing it too hard?

i've been under the impression that theres more grip, and i plan to ride at speeds i do at the road (seriously; its only my first time after all), then i shdn be in any more trouble than i would be on the road.

Yes, definately rougher.

Dont worry, the cause is on the tyres, not the road. It was a BT020 on my super4. Total mistake for that pair of tyres to be on a 400cc. That's supposedly to be a touring tyre on a class 2 which provide enough torque to heat up the tyre to the operating temperture which a 400cc could not. Super4, in the first place, do not enough torque to heat up a Z rated tyre, let alone a hard compound Z rated one. That pair of tyres was from my previous owner anyway.

And i must admit that i was pushing a little too hard. U need to cut alot of speed for turn 9 as it's a sharp chicane. Dropped too many gears without sufficient speed reduction and did not blip the throttle (told u i know sh*t). Didn't reduce the air pressure (yeah, wtf!!!) and the centre portion of the tyres were balding(results of hat yai trip).

Shouldn't be any problem if u can control urself not getting too hot into corners. Probably gotta respect the throttle too.

Why not we meet for Breakfast first

actually anything oso can, this one later oso can settle once we confirm which day we wanna go. for me, i cant turn up earlier than 1230pm, if u all wanna meet earlier than that to makan, then i find u all at 1230 wherever u all are. alternatively we can meet at 1230 at then and there we makan late breakfast or early lunch or brunch or watever u call it.

more important we confirm the date we RRiders wanna go. so far saturday has good response. nice.

Will skip PG this one... my tyres still botak mah & bike haven't service. I used to play a few times last year (wait, was it 2 years ago) when I was still on my RVF. Was using Sportec M-1 last tyme & it grips like nobody's business except the time when I overshot on the S- turn... Luckily go into the gravel.
