some bad news for those who own an 09 CBR 600. LOL

Dyno Results: 2008 ECU vs 2009 ECU!

2009 ECU:

- 92.8HP (12,228 RPM)

- 41.5 Ft/lbs tq (11,191 RPM)

- 135 MPH

 

2008 ECU:

- 100.1 HP (14,419 RPM) --> Gained 7 hp

- 40.7 Ft/lbs Tq (11,453 RPM) --> Lost 1 ft/lb of tq

- 135.7 MPH --> Gained .7 MPH

This is due to regulation & emmision control.

But not a total lost..U can either get a Ignition Retard Control(Dynojet) / Z-Bomb(Bazzaz).

This will help to give a false signal to ECU (at 9000-14500 rpm with Throttle Full Open).This will prevent the stock ECU to retard the engine,but by fixing this ensure u have a management unit.

As u need to enrich the fuel slightly if not the engine will be running Lean at Top RPM.

 

These item can be found on Ebay or maybe the local Bazzaz or Dynojet Dealer.

I got mine ship over for US$75(Total).

 

Or some alternative the 600rr guys are doin are to get cheap 07/08 ECU & install on their 09's onwards.(Good or bad i am not sure.)

 

Or want even better(Have lots of spare cash) go get the HRC ECU & Harness..

Solve the who has the highest horse power madness,hehehehehe.

 

On the 07/08 is the best CBR..i beck to differ..

Anyway in the track a higher horsepower/Displacement bike does not mean it will end up at the front..

That should apply to the US-spec models only, similar to the CBR1000RR and new ZX-10R.

 

As for the "best" CBR - the 07-11 bikes are about 98% the same so whichever one is better, it's not better by much.

u can always DIY respary the fairing.3 piece steel hose ard $130?u can keep your stock OEM hose.

The rear tyres are of the new profile.. ie 180/60s.. fronts are 120/70s.

Hi guys,will just like to check,is it normal for the HISS to stop blinking say after 3days not starting the bike?Does it mean that w/o blinking the HISS is not functioning?Is it any symptoms that there are some threat of potential problems with the bike like batt malfunction etc? Thanks
