me la.. new record... 320km on res tank.. manage to pump abt 18liter.. so i take the risk i can go 340 with really close to zero inside...

Managed to clock 274 km before topping up 13.57 L of shell 97.

Full tank is 18.1 L, does that mean we can travel beyond 300 km? Anyone did that?

Fireblade riders, soon I will be joining the CBR family, all these while I'm still stuck in the dilemma of between 600cc or 1000cc. I'm been riding a WR200 all these while since class 2B till 2, so a sports bike is definitely new to me. My fellow sports bike riders whom I know do advice me on a 600 rather on 1000, since I'm a light ride and a newbie to sports bike, which is true. Looking at the 2nd hand prices theres not much of a difference between the 2 CCs, thats where I feel so tempted to get a 1000cc bike straight.. So to those experienced CBR riders, whether 600 or 1000, can advise which should I go for?

P.S: For customizing fairing design, where can I have it done in Singapore? Better to Spray, sticker or change the whole fairing kit?

Thank you.

it depend on u what u wan out of ur bike.. 600cc is lighter.. more suitable for sg road and track...

1000 is good but more ex.. more suitable for long distance and power is unbeatable to 600...

Thanks, are both similar in terms of size and overall feel? since the dimensions are 99.5% identical.

It depends on what exactly are you looking for: I rode and owned both a 100 and 600...a 1000 in spore is a waste of money i feel.you can never really unleash its power..1000cc could be better utilised for touring i feel or for sepang. For sg road and Pasir gudang track, 600 is sufficient. Most ppl say there is no difference BUT in my opinion there is a lot.in terms of $$$ road tax and ins a bit more ex for 1000cc..on track you'll be surprised to see how our 600s outrun, outcorner and outbrake the 1000s...so in all goes down to you. What do you want to do with your bike?not everyone can handle the power of a 1000 or feel comfortable on it id say.just my opinion and sharing :)

Thanks, I think i'll start with a 600 first, I believe the dimensions/height are not too far from the 1000cc.

Better than riding with 30% of a 1000cc most of the time in SG and stopping 90% at traffic lights :)

BTW where can I get customized fairings? set my eyes on a 2nd hand 600, but intending to get new repsol fairings on it. Advisable to order the fairing kit online?
