Anybody looking for CBR 600 '09 fairings? Color scheme is black and green. I've sold off my bike but I have this spare set of fairings. It fits models from 09-12. Text me at 90086321.

bay - i am a noob too... i only know base thing on our bike.. koxie know more than i do.. u never go track before than why are u doing more onto track setup? u intend to use it for track use?

but tbh i kind of miss bike that is fully stock!

 

+1 on that stock bike has the comfortable feel to it.

 

I did consider getting a carbon ram air intake. Mines a '10 model anyway. But to get those AM carbon intakes, most require an AM fairing stay as well which is going to add a lot to the cost.

 

I have also met up with Dajiro before a he did mention that you were quite a track fanatic.

I think most of us who gets a sports bike would want to modify their bikes, its more of a way of pampering and giving the best goodies for your bike. Same goes for me.

 

I have the intention of going to track, just that becos I'm in the f&b line, alil difficult to find time. I've read you are organising a track session. If you don't mind, I would like to join but hope I won't be a burden. Haha.

cbr600 have the most comfortable riding position as compare to other sport bike... 2ns 07-12 cbr doesnt really make any diff in HP as most of them is the same.. if u feel that 1-3HP make alot of diff to u than get whatever bikeshop say have a higher HP.

 

getting new or 2nd cbr it really depend on rider, some feel that is ok to get a 2nd hand as can save time and trouble to run in and mantain and etc... some prefer to be new as they dont wan any problem that happen during the moment they have their bike..

I'm getting the marchesini genesi rims. I seriously did consider the bst ones but after reading various reviews, not sure of the stability and reliability. Plus the cost is WOW!!!! Haha.

any tips to make cbr600 tourable without too much $$$ involved? luggage tips will be good too.. assume heading to phuket

get a backpack that will be a cheapest way but ur back will aches after that. U can choose to stripe them on ur rear seat or u can consider to buy side back / tail back which cost 130 - 200

get a canvas and cover it at all time at least to deter stealers..
