in sg abs cbr is very hard to find cause there is very least demand for it... well why get an abs cbr?? any special reason or use on it? If u just wan to be 'special' cause u got an abs cbr than i will rather u save up the time and price diff looking for it. Jus get a normal cbr and upgrade ur parts...

 

when i bought mine.. i was told mine was also a abs version.. than didnt go take note of it.. ride for 1mth plus than realise is not.. go back bikeshop and ask.. the person say he never told me it was a abs.. jus told me that this is a special edition so price is higher only..

 

so indirectly i got cheated lor.. but wat can i do.. jus have it live with it and cont to love my bike..

 

It's sooo difficult to find a CBR600RR with abs.... Been looking for any shop with a display. Some say got, but I go down, they dun have.... Act blur n try to push other bikes... BS may not wanna bring in anytime soon as the last one took some time to sell.... Sigh.... Any help?

I am Sorry that u r being cheated. I think that u should seek to address the issue with the bike shop. They should never abuse the trust of consumer. Whatever that is stated in the invoice is important. I hope the best for you.

 

Singapore has reached the status of a developed nation, with no resources, only manpower (educated workforce). Bad sales or service standards bring shame to all with pink ic bringing us down to a barbaric society. I am sure we will love our bikes and many sg ppl are really "chin Chye lar" and to settle for whatever that's served on the plate. I think we are too kind hearted, and this becomes a weakness to exploited.

 

I am in love with the CBR600RR I rode in London a few years back, (abs came standard). I am not after power as i dun track nor race. Loved the underseat exhaust and the vast accessories (mainly cosmetic) that i can mod!

Abs saved my life (maybe even my love ones) a few times for past 10 years from the cars that I drove. I adamant to have that piece of technology on my next ride. ^^ albeit a few thousands more here compared to only a grand in states for that safety option.

 

I am afraid that upgrading the ride from a normal one to an abs version requires more than just parts, but also ecu upgrade too. I am not very certain of any mechanics or workshop competent or certified to do such an upgrade and provide a warranty for it and voiding the disty's.... U know what I mean. ^^

Hi guys..just bought an 08 cbr600rr..anything that I should look out for?cos its still under 1 month warranty from the bike shop..thnks in advance.

Hi. Just curious. Anyone here riding a tri colour (red white black ) one that park at tanjong pagar keppel tower carpark occasionally ? Been seeing it few times. But didn't park for long. Just wanna say nice bike :)

elvin88 - there is no best year for cbr.. reason being is that every yr honda dont do much update on their bike.. mainly jus design and abit of add on only.. if u intend to get 2nd hand 07 onward the cbr shld be good enough..

2) F.Faber smoked windshield from GMax - $100

3) Evotech honda gas cap - $150

4) Evotech brake reservoir + engine oil filler cap - $150

5) Scottoiler system.

6) Rjays leather racing suit. - $300

guys, my friend encounter some problem with his bikes. he bike just sudden die off, able to ride but have to restart the bike for a few time... hard to restart the bike. most probably isnt spark plug issues isnt

?

Check the fuel pump for dirt blocking outlet.

Not sure what you mean 'must open up the tank'. You must left the tank of the bike to get at fuel pump. I had similar problem with my R1. Took 30mins to get the fuel pump off and yep it was full of dirt. After cleaning and reassembling bike ran like a dream.

hmm i think maybe its this problem too!! because lately my fc has gone bad. and like the power is not there! haha!! can any bro can guide me thru! i dont even know what does fuel pump looks like haha!! thanks !!:)
