HAHA of course of course cant wait also... hee

It's doesn't matter how fast you can go, becos at the end of the day it's the size of your bike that counts.

But it does matter how low you CAN go, becos in the end it's the size of your BALLS thats counts.

Guys, any of u get numbs on our RRs? Am using motovation bar end and i notice that my hands get numb easier during constant low rpm (below 5K) compared to relatively much higher rpm like 2nd link trips.

Y is this so? Isn't higher rpm = more vibration = numbed hands? Or issit because while in 2nd link the rpm varies that's y my hands dont feel numb compared to constant riding speed in sgp expressway?

I am not sure if i heard something like u can adjust balancers on vibration for different speed. If yes, how do i do it?

are your bike from boonsiew?

when i collect mine direct from boonsiew(i bought from there).

#1- day of collection - battery not charge. fwah ! day #1 nia like that liao.boonsiew sleeping agh ! had to reject collection & they take out the dry-cell battery to charge for 1hr b4 i can collect.

#2- windscreen plastic srew - 2 of them were overtighten till the tread rounded(had to replace outside myself) cos change windscreen then realise-haizz

#3- left side black plastic cover(under the seat that 1 ) 1 plastic clip not install(buy myself) cos want to change exhaust then realise it was not there at all-haizz

#4- make sure all your "oil"(engine, coolent, brake) are fill to the MAX (my rear brake fluid not full when collect)

*remember to collect your HONDA factory warranty cert ! (comes with 3 free svc-oil + labour) :thumb:

i notice that too.during the 1st 800km run-in period.

it seens like the end bar vibrate more ard 4.5k~5.5k rpm(ard 100km/hr beh).

i assume the motovation end bar weight will counter the freg of the end bar by adjusting the gap between the weight & bar-end.

*i dunno...cos still waiting for the bar end weight to come in.

im the other way round...right hand gets very numb at high rpm...

u can tighten the balancer all the way in or leave a gap in between the balancer and the handle bar...

this act will shift the resonance frequency.. (theoretically)

currently i leave a 5mm gap in between...maybe i should try to adjust again and see if it make any difference

u can only do it in a trial and error basis...choose a setting that suit u best.

but dont leave the gap too far apart or else ur balancers may fly off halfway...

I see.....will try it out someday. i tried riding at 70km/hr, 6th gear, very low rpm (probably 3k?) for sometime and my hands get numbed. Quite irritated by that.

Thanks!

higher rpm does not necessarily mean higher vibration.

there is a particular point where ur vibration is highest. when u hit this point and ur increase rpm, the vibration actually decrease. where this point is is largely dependant on the weight on your bar end.

when u put the motovation bar ends, actually what u did was to shift this point elsewhere. chances are, it is moved further away, but no guarantee. motovation probably did their calculations to ensure that the weight does shift further away such that the rider feels more comfortable.

ur solution therefore is to either cruise at a higher rpm or change some other bar end of a different weight.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

u mean ur bike is P.I HONDA?

or from Boon siew Honda but buy from other bike shop?

if ur bike is from boonsiew then...same same la....the bike will be de-box & setup by Boonsiew HONDa PDI......(so same hand that rounded my screw could be working on yours too) :sian:

if not wrong...ur bike shop also get from boonsiew unless stated as a JDM spec lor.

which there will be a 180km/hr speed cut. :faint:

Got more respond from my engine this morning, rode to camp with smiles. My tank is about half left, hopefully its not the placebo effect.
