hey guys, cbr600rr 05 now starting to give me some problem,

when im doing hard braking, i can feel the front end of my bike shaking, its like a chattering feeling from the handle bars, i dun have this problem before but after the rainy season recently , i started having this problem.

does anyone experience this prob also ?

i had just change my front brake pads to braking pads very gd stopping distance but right now it just not stable for me to do harding braking anymore ..

im hoping its not my brake discs. .. . possible dat my front brake pump need bleeding ???

the firebladers claim its the holes on the disc causing this feeling. i'm inclined to believe its the suspensions.

 

have u tried tuning ur front suspensions?

 

i've increased my front rebound by a quarter turn from stock, and front compression by half turn from stock. it seems to help.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

its not the shock , dats one thing im sure of ..use to ride rs250 with ****ed up front shock but still the braking fine ...

i so dun wanna tink its the disc ... gonna cost a bomb ....i tune down the compression and rebound it help just a little bit ....

just hope maybe my brake pump need bleeding ...

coz of tis prob ... lost confidence .... boring zzzzzz

always knew cbr600rr had braking prob ... just didnt knew it so sucky ....

does it occur everytime??

go to ur front brake disc, try to shake it... is it shakeable?

floating disc :thumb: dissipate heat faster

chattering for e front occur to e 04 cbr too but its normal...

have u drop ur bike before?? if not, ur bike is new, e brake disc shouldnt warp that fast..

try going slow on a road and apply front brake gradually.. try it a few times

is it constant ?? do u feel that 1st half of e travel does not have any braking effect?? if yes, bleeding time!

e amt of front brake lever pull vs e braking power should be abt e same everytime.

just my 2 penny worth :smile:

the chattering only comes when i do hard braking above 80km or so ... but once i do hard braking at slow speed , its does shows ...

i just hope it just a simple case of bleeding the brake pump ... but i tink my disc plate warpped ..

my bike been down before ... highside once at PG but its been 5 months and this chattering only shows recently .. .. really hope its nutting major ....

Ay uncle hock, still havent plan to change tyre ar?? :-P My rear tyre going to go already ley, every 2 days need to pump one. Hahah... Lucky work is not that far so the bike is not that stress...

It's doesn't matter how fast you can go, becos at the end of the day it's the size of your bike that counts.

But it does matter how low you CAN go, becos in the end it's the size of your BALLS thats counts.

I tried some hard braking just now. Yeah, the feel isn't gd. It feels like the discs are warpped. :giddy:

 

On very slow speed braking with light pressure on the brake lever, i can also feel that the braking is not constant. But i thought that's pretty normal cos my ex-super4 is the same. That doesnt really concern me as it's only noticable when u brake very little on crawling speed.

 

More concern about the hard braking feel.....

most likely its e semi-floating disc...

chattering has nothing to do with warpping disc :sian:

test to check.. take our brake disc.. lay on flat ground

will know e results...

anyway let clifford hav a check if u feel very uncertain :smile:

Nah, gave a thought of it again. If the discs are warpped, it would happen at any level of braking which isnt the case.
