Yeah I think this is a very nice commuter bike.

Just wish 2b could ride 250's so that my gf could also ride it.

In that case I'd change my CBR150 to a CBX250.

Been searching for this rare bike for long long time.

So far only Brand News available...

Any idea what's the OTR price?

Came across a couple of expired online ads that people selling it for 2k plus ... 2004 model... A great deal I would say.

Any lobang for the CBX 250?

What is with you today may be gone tomorrow..............

I beg to differ. Replacement parts should cost less than the S4.

Common maintenance should not be more than just changing the oil, filter, spark plug, coolant etc.

I guess you are referring to replacements from accidents?

Good price. :thumb:

Sadly it's most uncles that ride these bikes and I don't think they use the internet when it comes time to sell.

DOH!

Guess we have to rely on this website which provides excellent network between all bikers.

My favourite was actually a S4. However, after hearing so many sad stories of stolen suspension, whole bike stolen etc, the entire acquisition idea has to give up.

Anyone know of this bike

Brand New OTR price?

Second hand for 2003 or 2004 model?

I guess the other alternative is a Hornet 250.

Will Hornet face the same problem as the S4?

That is,

Suspension stolen ( I think unlikely - Mono shock not as easy to extract)

Whole bike stolen ( Most probably. Will the people across the causeway mistake it for the S4?)

Hi Civicman,

I saw one at AS Phoon Changi. I think it's an FZ plate. Good condition. Call 67470770 and speak to Wilson to enquire.

God Bless!

Don't tell God you have a big problem. Tell the problem you have a big God!

Went down to Alexandra bike shop. One guy was offering me this CDX 250 for 7.2K OTR. My FQ SF version S which COE due to die in Aug 08, he willing to trade in for 1.2K. That is as good as selling me the COE only? Do you think I should trade in my SF or should I just renew my COE? What is the fuel consumption of this bike? Please advise. :)

Why pay xtra $ for a 2A Twister (Higher road tax, fuel consumption etc) when it doesnt give u xtra perks compared to a 2B bike?

Also, it has a '2B' look written all over it.

For NTUC insurance, 250cc is cheaper than 2B bikes. 250cc tires are usually wider. Bike is also considerably lighter than a 400cc.

Twister rider here. My own personal opinions on the bike:

- Top speed on straight road: Unknown but a comfortable 90km/h. You can feel the strain on the engine once over 100km/h.

- Fuel consumption: I'm averaging 500km before reserve (about 13 litres of fuel top up).

Suggestion: Don't get this bike if you intend to ply the expressways most of the time at the top end speed. It is purely a city bike. Great low to mid range, poor high end.

How much did you pay for the bike? I heard it's a tuned down motor from the XR250.. So it should be quite reliable I guess..

I bought it at about $7.5k OTR @GHC. Don't ask me why I bought it there. I think you can get cheaper elsewhere if you have time to look around.

Not sure if it uses a tuned down XR250 engine. I supposed it could be possible if the XR250 also originates from Honda Brazil.
