Hey everyone,

the other day I was thinking. a guy has bought a car with coe 70k or bike with coe 4k. bad luck falls on him and he dies after riding/ driving the vehicle less than a few months. if suppose the vehicle is completely destroyed and no victim except the driver/buyer, how much will the family of the bereaved get from LTA? will the cost of the coe be returned back supposing he paid cash for all.what do you think?

Thanks guys for the answer. but i think your answers are based on theory. what happens if the bereaved family do not know much about the law and too bereaved to care. Would LTA kway kway give back the money?

If you don't tell LTA the guy is dead I doubt they'll bother finding out. Otherwise have to go around asking all the car owners if they're dead. Kind of a waste of resources. Probably until the next inspection/ road tax renewal then they'll come and ask the family why never go then from there they'll find out the guy is dead and then help the family from there.
