Tio summon in JB

Hi guys, i need some advice. Was on my way to pump petrol in JB and " i did beat the read light" the police stop me and issue me a summon ticket stating, have to attend to court on 20/10/14 + date,time, plate number as well as the offence and my signature is on it.

 

So my question is:

 

*Do i just ignore the summon or have to pay the fine?

*Summon ticket no amount on it

*No Address, just stated singapore

*When asked the police, he say 300RM?

If you don't pay, I think they might 'flag' your vehicle number at immigration.

 

Some years back, I got a ticket for overtaking in a no overtaking road. Also got summon.

But had some Malaysian colleague who said it can be compounded. So I gave them the $ and they paid for me at some police station.

I think mine was also RM300.

Unless you not traveling there any more, if not just paid up, keep the receipt and have a good night sleep.

Hi guys, tha ks for the respond, i went to the tp hq and was told to pay 100rm instead. Looks like its full of curruption including tp hq. Haha!! Really thanks guys really can go to slp nicely
