Hi Guys,

 

Is there any more new sonic that is available in bike shops? There is a used one, FX7*** plate selling at $1200. Is it worth it? I have been wanting this bike since I 1st saw it yrs ago.

Think i saw an earlier post here in aug 08 tat the bike is still under warranty and wd not want to mod the engine 1st. Thanks for the asp link.

Honestly not yet. Intend to get one and looking at the options that i can explore.

one of the problems is tat i haf a 46l givi box and mono rack but i think the rack is not suitable for sonic. so now my fairing is being pull now by the box n the rack. anyone with box can help me solve tis problem? thanks!

Change your rack to a suitable one.

I think sonic using those longer rack.

Or can try to mod you current rack.

I think u can mod your current rack by adjusting the bracket lenght.

Or there is four bolt at the end part of the seat whereby you can do mounting of the MONORACK MR2.But still think you need to mod the

MONORACK MR2.

As there's a limited number of sonic around so they

are no or rare spare part available for the bike.You can try to use yama spark MONORACK MR2 bracket for a mod.

 

I attach the link you can check it out.As for the workshop i got no idea as most of the repair i diy.Hope this is useful for all the sonic rider.

I believe a mech who can measure the points and distance to the rack base will be able to weld and mod a suitable rack for you.
