CBR's shock is 10mm longer than the Sonic spec and its for heavier chasis. Currently I have a set of fully adjustable Gazi for Sonic, which is hard to find in the market even though in Thailand it self. 1 more coming soon which is YSS fully adjust .

Issit possible to fix on Sonic then? I got a feeling that this will 'jack' up da rear. Thus resulting in a more 'sportier' look..

Yes..its possible...If its height adjustable like the YSS G series...you can lowered it to suits u. I have sold a few set of Sonic's shock to some CBR's owner. What they do is, they increase the height to suits their need.

oh i am still keeping my old YSS shock. duno wat model.

it comes with a external canister. there is a screw on it.

dunno can adjust anot

 

but if wanna use it. must find a good place to install the canister.

i used to put it on the pillion handle.

this i have to mod my givi box rack.

 

now i take out due to poor ride quality.like abit too soft

and travel is too short.

will often hit the end of shock. thak sound like tat

Well I did go to jb recently to change my rims and install an oversized disk brake on my bike..

 

must die die change the rims before we change the oversized disk brake? cos my shop say there is not oversized disk brake for stock sonic rims.

Yupz, it cuz our stock rims have diff. screw mounting points for da Racing boy brake disks series~ thus da need to change to racing boy rims~

I find that during corner a bit soft,but still ok.

As for the stock brake disk do u guy find it underpower or just wanna get a fancy big disk?

Think not very advisable ba. they are smaller for a reason. too big it will lock more often at low speed and cause falls.

As for the stock front brake i find its sufficient for normal use.......

Actually i agree more on da latter~ Well.. Who doesn't like big fancy brake disks..? After changing my disks, da braking power was of no diff than original stock disk.. It was after i change my front brakehose to Hel S.S brakehose than i felt a huge diff in braking power i.m.o~

i also like lei but my mech said cannot find the disk to fix it....

Guys do u all find it to be unbearable in the behind after a ride of like 30min?

i do, my current seat is quite stiff.

last time i went to alter my seat, cut away some foam to make the surface flat.

but problem still exist.

so i may decide to ask the shops to install more foam in.

 

like have u all tried sitting on a runner, thick foam lol. damn comfy.

i find it under power sometime thus need to use heavy engine brake. n its a bonus for the appearance.

i think its becos our seat is thinner than other bike. n our bike handle bar is quite low compare.

now also notice my shock kinda of soft and rusty........
