Here's my situation:

1) Bike left hire purchase loan till Oct 07

2) I sent cheque to bike shop to clear loan and told them i want to clear loan. They have since cleared the cheque lieow

3) Bike shop say can only get original log card and 2nd Key by next week week.

4) I have found a buyer and would like to transfer bike

5) Can i perform the transfer without getting back the original log card? and cancel my insurance?

Help appreciated.

Did my transfer without using log card last week. Just ensure new buyer has insurance and both of u can go down to LTA to transfer. However, please continue to settle the log card and keys for the new buyer if you haven't by the time you transfer to him. Cos I think the new buyer will also be abit blurblur in the beginning. I'm not saying you or what lah, but from my experience reading thru this forum, I find that there has been instance where people sell of their bikes with issues still hanging and just bo chap about the new buyer. I think its only nice to continue to help the guy out even after transferring ownership to his name. But of course doesn't mean have to continue paying for all the repairs/servicings lah heheh. Hope this helps. Good luck with your sale bro!
