1st S road in Singapore.

i think its still possible to speed.But why bother making a S shaped road at a junction? Not even 100m in length.Even if you do speed.2 secs later you'll have to brake..

It's part of the new "silver zone" in an area with high density of old folks. Can't remember the location. Speed limit there is 40 kmph.

 

That s curve is likely to cause more probs. The way ppl like to text n drive now, it's only gonna result in more idiot textors mounting kerb at the curved portions and running over ppl on the pavement. Or grinding the kerb and then over correcting and running off the road.

 

It was designed with the assumption that everyone drives nicely within the lanes. If ppl already did that, then there would be no need for this slew of measures to "enhance" safety.
