A Pair of rear shocks is $1350. Only includes installation. No front springs. One shock cost about $775... expensive?? maybe.. at least it looks like quality stuff... have yet to try the performance..

 

Front springs with installation and new seals cost ~$280.

I've asked Mah on the OTR price for cb13 Super Bol d'or ABS Europe model. Cost a staggering 21.8k without insurance.. everything else in.

 

The VFR800 ABS model OTR without insurance is 20.5k... after a hard time considering between the two...

 

I've decided to go for the VFR800.. hopefully its the right choice.

 

Now I have a brand new pair of Wilbers shock absorbers (preload and rebound adjustable) emulsion type with blue coloured spring yet to installed... for sale..Actually i have placed the order but can't cancel it, the shock is still in Germany... fabricated, waiting to be assembled.. according to the bikeshop.

 

So need to sell this pair of shock to another cb13 rider (SC40) carb model. My buying price is $1350 which includes installation. Willing to sell to another cb13 (SC40 only) rider for $350 discount. So 1k for 2 shock, 500 each.

Your technical discussions are very interesting. Let me join in...

 

Anybody here riding the cb13 (carb model) had done any modification to their bikes? Especially the power cut. If there is, may I need to know where you guys done it.

 

I know this can be done as this is my 2nd CB13 I owned. I ordered the powercut override when I was using my 1st CB13 but my bike was sold before the device arrived. The motorshop which ordered the override said, now difficult to get the device as the CB13 (carb model) is a rare bike now.

 

So, if there is any of you guys have other alternative to throw the powercut besides using the overrides can call SMS at 946306737.

Hi, i am currently riding honda silverwing 600. Great torque and combined with the auto transmission, acceleration even with a pillion is effortless! But top speed is electronically limited to 180km/h.

 

I am thinking of getting a cb1300. Heard this bike has so much torque available in very low rpm. Is it possible to accelerate in 5th gear, without any hessitation, after you reduce your speed to almost a standstill?

 

 

Can this model be fitted with side bags? Really appreciate if owners of this bike share your experience. Thanks !!

You heard it right...plenty of power you can pull away smoothly in 5th gear..

imagine if they at another cog to the already powerful 5th..

so much torque at any speed and at any rev range...that`s what I think

hey hi, 51hp? u gotta be kidding me, I think there`s more than that hiding in there waiting to be unleash......yea what kinda mod did u do? as for mine it`s stock n evrything....as if it wants to ride by itself...it scares me sumtimes..
