cheaper way to start is to convert both wheels to 18inch diameter.

less than few hundreds and you are on your way with new tyres and wide smile.

auntie shop is the wrong place to begin. vector one, ideal, dirtwheel, mayo street, ah piao toa payoh are better starting points.

9k is not cheap, then whats the range?

9k is dam fuking cheap ... but from my expert point of view with a value of a fraction of 0.2 cents .... looking at the pics ... the only missing thingy is the OVERSIZE front braking disc ... if you are a serious Orange buyer ... use this as part of your negotiation ... if it does not cum with the dirt set up ... then u can use this as another negotiation factor ... if you want anything cheaper than this go buy LEMON ... there was one sold for only 8.5K completely PIMPED and Ready to Race ...

:faint:

Good luck and Peace! :thumb:

nah, Gery's KTM 525 was CHEAP! Though it needed work.

Can't wait to see the completed EXTREME MAKEOVER!

Evo> What's a new KTM-4 going for these days anyway?

Gotta say, KTM's really do hold their value well. As do DRZ-E models.

Whether it's worth 9k is up to the buyer to decide. It depends on your budget and intended purpose for the bike. But yes, with this bike you will still need to spend money. It would help if we knew what plate the bike is.

My personal view is that if it's an FS/FT plate 2000 model bike (5+ years old) it's a tad too expensive. 8-8.5k would be more reasonable. Any less than that and it's a bargain.

Have to remember it has the black SX tank (rare) and the 04 sharp tail unit which adds value to the bike. Not sure what year the headlight is from that pic.

With the current market I'm pretty sure he will be able to sell it for 8.5k if not his asking price of 9. These things are hot stuff at the moment.

Supply and demand. VERY limited supply and very high demand.

Orange bikes have GREAT resale value.

Look at 5+ year old sportbikes, selling for 1/3 or 1/4 of their original price. (some even less)

Then look at these machines. Selling for 1/2 their original price or more!
